A cover for covering an oral device that includes a first sheet member made of a first resin, and a second sheet member made of a second resin and facing the first sheet member, wherein when a first direction is a direction along a surface of the first sheet member and a second direction is a direction along the surface of the first sheet member and orthogonal to the first direction, the first sheet member and the second sheet member are joined to each other in a bag shape so as to define an opening at a first side in the first direction. A protruding portion protrudes from the second sheet member and past an outer edge of the first sheet member at the opening in the first direction.

A system for containing and transporting a medical device may include a container including a bottom face and surrounding side faces as a closed first end and an open second end to form an inner portion for receiving and retaining the medical device. The liner may be extendable over the side faces to line the inner portion of the container to an outer surface of the bottom face of the container. The liner may act as a protective barrier to the container to minimize contamination when receiving and/or retaining a used medical device. First and second covers may be removably attachable to the container, over the liner, to enclose a medical device therebetween. A first cover may have a color or marking indicating the medical device is “clean”, while a second cover may have a color or marking indicating the medical device is “used”.

A sterilization wrap system with features for protecting a sterilization wrap and/or a sterilization tray of the sterilization wrap system is provided. Such features include strap or belt protectors, edge protectors, corner protectors, and/or expandable protectors, which each may provide protection of one or more areas of the sterilization wrap and/or tray when positioned against an outer surface of the wrap and/or between an inner surface of the wrap and a container for holding implements to be sterilized. A size-selectable protection system also is provided. The size-selectable protection system provides a material having a plurality of perforations such that a length of the material may be selected and detached from the rest of the material. The selected length of material may be used with a sterilization wrap system to protect a sterilization wrap and/or sterilization tray from cuts, tears, or the like.

An apparatus for fixing a device in a selected position comprises a base having a deformable adherent material disposed thereon, and at least one stability feature associated with the base that allows the apparatus to be maintained in a location and position. The deformable adherent material substantially conforms to at least a portion of a shape of the device and removably fixes the device in the selected position. Although not limited thereto, the apparatus is useful in surgical and interventional procedures for quickly and reliably fixing a medical device such as a catheter at a selected position and orientation while allowing easy removing and repositioning of the device.

A sterilization wrap system with features for protecting a sterilization wrap and/or a sterilization tray of the sterilization wrap system is provided. Such features include strap or belt protectors, edge protectors, corner protectors, and/or expandable protectors, which each may provide protection of one or more areas of the sterilization wrap and/or tray when positioned against an outer surface of the wrap and/or between an inner surface of the wrap and a container for holding implements to be sterilized. A size-selectable protection system also is provided. The size-selectable protection system provides a material having a plurality of perforations such that a length of the material may be selected and detached from the rest of the material. The selected length of material may be used with a sterilization wrap system to protect a sterilization wrap and/or sterilization tray from cuts, tears, or the like.

A packaging system providing for sterile enclosure of devices including medical devices and systems such as delivery systems is described. The packaging system is comprised of a primary chamber and includes at least one vent or opening covered by a barrier.

A clamping device for objects comprises a flexible support plate that has a first surface suitable to be rested on a supporting surface or on the body of a patient, and a second surface, opposite the first surface, from which at least a pair of clamping members in the form of shaped platelets extend.

An apparatus for fixing a device in a selected position comprises a base having a deformable adherent material disposed thereon, and at least one stability feature associated with the base that allows the apparatus to be maintained in a location and position. A unique flexible container combination comprises a viscoelastomeric thermoset overlay disposed upon a flexible supportive base. Desirably, the viscoelastomeric thermoset overlay possesses exceptional adhesive, cohesive and releasability properties. In some embodiments, the flexible container combination can also exhibit antipathogenic, cleansability and/or reusability properties. The flexible container combination can maintain an adhered stowable item in an immobilized position until intentionally removed therefrom by a user. In some embodiments, the flexible container combination can be folded or rolled into a rolled-up configuration.
