11504204 · 2022-11-22 · ·

A medical or surgical sterile container includes a first container part, a second container part, and at least one closure system arranged on the second container part which is pivotable between a closed position, in which the first container part and the second container part are locked to each other by the closure system, and an open position, in which the first container part and the second container part are unlocked. The first container part has an integrally formed edge portion on which the closure system is immediately supported in the closed position, for transferring a closing force of the first container part to the second container part.

Disposable kit

Arrangements described herein relate to systems, apparatuses, and methods for a disposable kit containing medical items configured for a medical device including a head cradle to support a head of a subject, the disposable kit includes a container that encloses a head cradle pad configured to be affixed to the head cradle, at least one fiducial marker configured to be disposed on a location at the head of the subject, and at least one enclosure configured to cover a portion of the medical device.

Modularly structured lid for a sterile container and filter covering for such a lid

A modularly structured lid for a sterile container includes a lid component, which has at least one gas exchange portion, on which, on the inner side of a lid, at least one filter device can be arranged, and at least one filter covering by which the at least one gas exchange portion can be completely covered on an outside of the lid. The lid component has at least one standardized clip receiving portion and the filter covering has at least one standardized clip portion, by which the filter covering and the lid component can be interlockingly fixed to each other, and can be mounted and removed without tools. A sterile container can include such a lid and a filter covering for such a lid.

Sterilization tray

A sterilization tray is disclosed herein. A medical instrument, such as an endoscope, may be placed into the sterilization tray, and the sterilization tray with the medical instrument disposed therein may be placed into a vacuum chamber of a sterilization system. The sterilization tray may also be used to transport the medical instrument to and from a point of care. Sterilization is performed with the instrument in the base component and the lid component disposed atop the base component. Transportation is performed with the instrument in the lid component and the base component disposed atop the lid component.

Catheterization packages and methods thereof

Disclosed is a catheterization package including catheterization-package components and a catheterization tray configured to facilitate a catheterization procedure. The catheterization-package components include a urinary catheter fluidly connected to a urine-drainage bag and a sampling-port access device configured to fluidly connect to a urine-sampling port of the urinary catheter or the urine-drainage bag for aseptic collection of one or more urine samples. The catheterization tray includes at least a first compartment, a second compartment, and a third compartment configured to hold the catheterization-package components. The first compartment is configured to hold the urinary catheter. The second compartment is connected to the first compartment by an intercompartment connection. The second compartment is configured to hold the urine-drainage bag. The third compartment is configured to hold the sampling-port access device. Step-by-step instructions are incorporated into the catheterization tray to facilitate the catheterization procedure. Also disclosed are methods for the catheterization package.

TRAY AND METHODS FOR MEDICAL PRODUCTS PACKAGING, STORAGE AND ACCESS

Trays and methods for medical products packaging, storage and access are described where a multi-level packaging assembly may comprise a top tray level, a lower tray level upon which the top tray level is removably positioned, one or more compartment barriers which define a first compartment within the lower tray level such that the first compartment is sized to accommodate a single syringe. The first compartment barriers may have a continuous ledge at a constant level with respect to a bottom of the lower tray level, and a base which is uninclined relative to the bottom of the lower tray level, and at least one layer of wrap sized so as to fold over and enclose both the lower tray level and the top tray level such that unfolding of the at least one layer of wrap reveals the top tray level.

Set of tools for installing an implant

A set of tools for installation of a stem implant into a bone comprises a stem-shaped priming tool (1) having a distal tip (32) and a plurality of cutting teeth (31) along a length thereof and a plurality of stem-shaped broaches (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) of different size. Each of the broaches have a distal tip and a plurality of cutting teeth along a length thereof. The priming tool (1) is shorter than, has more cutting teeth (31) per unit length, and has a sharper distal tip (32) than the smallest broach.

11484439 · 2022-11-01 · ·

A single-use infection control system for a forced air warming machine having hosing connected to the machine including: a closable container having a chamber to receive the machine, the container constructed from air permeable material that prevents infectious airborne particles from entering the chamber; a sleeve having a first end and a second end, the first end engaged to an aperture on the container and the sleeve surrounding the hosing; and a filter cap constructed from the air permeable material, disposed at the second end and covering an opening of the hosing.

Condensate drain valve

A drain valve for a sterile container includes: a valve housing; a bypass that connects a container gas volume with an external gas volume; a valve body that blocks the bypass; and an actuator that displaces the valve body between a passage position and a blocking position. The valve body is displaceable according to a temperature and/or a pressure of the bypass gas volume. The valve housing has: at least one holding web, at least part of which can be located in a holding bracket of the valve receptacle; and a closure. The valve housing is pivotable from an open position into an installation position in which the closure can be fixed to a closure receptacle. When the valve housing is transferred into the installation position, the valve body is transferred into the blocking position and subjected to a closure force.

Method of applying buttresses to surgically cut and stapled sites

A method of applying a buttress to a surgically cut and stapled site uses an end effector with a buttress applier cartridge assembly to load one or more buttress assemblies to the end effector. The buttress assemblies each include a buttress to support a staple formed therein as well an adhesive for adhering to the end effector. The adhesive of the buttress assemblies can include a pattern to assist in both attachment to the end effector and release from the end effector after cutting and stapling a tissue site. The buttress applier cartridge can include features that accommodate end effectors having various tip configurations, including straight tips and curved or bent tips.
