Arrangement for cleaning and disinfection of endoscopes
An arrangement, and associated method, for cleaning and disinfecting an endoscope having an internal channel accessible via an opening. The arrangement includes: a support structure; at least one tray including at least one fixture arranged to maintain the endoscope in the desired position within the tray; a rack arranged to support the tray; a control unit arranged to control and operate the arrangement; a user interface connected to the control unit and arranged to make it possible for an operator to indicate the type of endoscope arranged in the tray; an optical device connected to the control unit and configured to confirm the type of endoscope arranged in the tray; a robotic device operated by the control unit and arranged to clean the at least one channel in the endoscope arranged in the tray; and a disinfector device arranged to enclose the tray and disinfect the endoscope.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR BIODIFFUSION CHAMBER STORAGE
An apparatus includes a chamber container and a tray. The chamber container has a first portion and a second portion removably coupled to the first portion. The first and second portions collectively define an inner volume. The tray is configured to be removably disposed within the inner volume of the chamber container. The tray includes a first portion and a second portion coupled to the first portion via a hinge. The first portion includes a first retention surface. The second portion includes a second retention surface. The tray is configured to receive a biodiffusion chamber between the first portion and the second portion such that the first retention surface and the second retention surface engage a portion of the biodiffusion chamber to (1) place the biodiffusion chamber in a predetermined orientation and (2) maintain the biodiffusion chamber in a substantially fixed position relative to the tray.
Device for providing a sterile limited space for surgery
A device for introducing sterile instruments into an operation chamber or an instrument chamber comprises an introduction frame, a first roller and a second roller rotatable around their respective longitudinal axis and attached to the introduction frame such that the longitudinal axis of the first roller and the longitudinal axis of the second roller are parallel and the first roller and the second roller are movable along an axis extending perpendicular to their respective longitudinal axis. A distance between the first roller and the second roller is defined by a position of a movement of the first and second roller along the axis extending perpendicular to their longitudinal axes. The first and second rollers are biased to contact each other and may be moved along the axis to increase the distance to allow insertion of an instrument through a gap provided by the distance.

Apparatus and methods for disinfection of a specimen container
An apparatus includes a transfer adapter, a puncture member, a disinfection member, and a fluid reservoir. The transfer adapter has a proximal end portion and a distal end portion, and defines an inner volume configured to receive the puncture member. The transfer adapter is coupled to the disinfection member. The distal end portion of the transfer adapter includes a port fluidically coupled to the puncture member and configured to be placed in fluid communication with a bodily-fluid of a patient. The proximal end portion is configured to receive a portion of the fluid reservoir to allow the fluid reservoir to be moved within the inner volume between a first position, in which a surface of the fluid reservoir is placed in contact with the disinfection member, and a second position, in which the puncture member punctures the surface to place the puncture member in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir.
Suction catheter holder
A suction catheter holder is provided. The holder can include a housing that defines an interior open-space compartment for receiving at least a portion of a suction catheter. The housing can have an elongate structure defined by a longitudinal and lateral axis. The housing can include a base panel having a substantially flat exterior surface, and a plurality of sidewalls, each extending upward from the base to a roof panel having an interior surface that faces, at least in part, an interior surface of the base panel. The housing can include a front sidewall panel extending laterally along the front edges of the base and roof panels, between a pair of longitudinal sidewalls. The front sidewall panel can include an insertion through-hole for receiving the suction catheter and a securing through-hole for retaining the suction catheter in place.
Wire Holder for Sterile Field
A wire manager for managing wires in a sterile field includes a base that is planar and has a width, a depth, and a height and has a sticky material disposed on a first side for temporarily adhering the base to a surface of the sterile field. There are capture loops stacked and depending from an edge of a second side of the base and separators that are planar, an edge of each separator is connected to one of the capture loops. Each of the separators is flexible and resilient. In some embodiments, each of the separators has a separator width that is equal to the width of the base, and each of the separators has a separator depth that is less than the depth of the base.
Wire Holder for Sterile Field
A wire manager for managing wires in a sterile field includes a body having a plurality of slots on a front side of the body and an adhesive material disposed on a back side of the body for temporarily adhering the body to a surface of the sterile field. A finger tab is formed on a side surface of the body for facilitating removal of the body from the surface on which the body is installed. The adhesive material provides for adhesion to the surface and removal from the surface by way of lifting the body using the finger tab.
Medical devices and methods useful for applying bolster material
Described are medical devices useful for applying a bolster material to a surgical fastening device such as a stapler, and related methods of manufacture and use. The devices include an applicator element for receipt between arms of the stapler, and a bolster material, desirably a remodelable extracellular matrix material, coupled to the applicator element. In certain embodiments, the bolster material is held by the applicator element, for example having at least a portion looped around or received through or over a portion of the applicator element. Also described are unique implantable materials including coatings of dried, reversible adhesive.
Tissue extraction devices and methods
Tissue may be cut and extracted from an interior location in a patient's body using a probe or tool which both effects cutting and causes vaporization of a liquid or other fluid to propel the cut tissue through an extraction lumen of the cutting device. The cutting may be achieved using an electrosurgical electrode assembly, including a first electrode on a cutting member and a second electrode within a cutting probe or tool.
