Sterilization tray
A sterilization tray is disclosed herein. A medical instrument, such as an endoscope, may be placed into the sterilization tray, and the sterilization tray with the medical instrument disposed therein may be placed into a vacuum chamber of a sterilization system. The sterilization tray may also be used to transport the medical instrument to and from a point of care. Sterilization is performed with the instrument in the base component and the lid component disposed atop the base component. Transportation is performed with the instrument in the lid component and the base component disposed atop the lid component.
Sterilization tray
A sterilization tray is disclosed herein. A medical instrument, such as an endoscope, may be placed into the sterilization tray, and the sterilization tray with the medical instrument disposed therein may be placed into a vacuum chamber of a sterilization system. The sterilization tray may also be used to transport the medical instrument to and from a point of care. Sterilization is performed with the instrument in the base component and the lid component disposed atop the base component. Transportation is performed with the instrument in the lid component and the base component disposed atop the lid component.
Catheterization packages and methods thereof
Disclosed is a catheterization package including catheterization-package components and a catheterization tray configured to facilitate a catheterization procedure. The catheterization-package components include a urinary catheter fluidly connected to a urine-drainage bag and a sampling-port access device configured to fluidly connect to a urine-sampling port of the urinary catheter or the urine-drainage bag for aseptic collection of one or more urine samples. The catheterization tray includes at least a first compartment, a second compartment, and a third compartment configured to hold the catheterization-package components. The first compartment is configured to hold the urinary catheter. The second compartment is connected to the first compartment by an intercompartment connection. The second compartment is configured to hold the urine-drainage bag. The third compartment is configured to hold the sampling-port access device. Step-by-step instructions are incorporated into the catheterization tray to facilitate the catheterization procedure. Also disclosed are methods for the catheterization package.
Trocar packaging clip
A packaging device for a trocar assembly includes a trocar packaging clip having at least two holding structures configured to be detachably secured to the proximal portions of the trocar obturator and the cannula for retention of the trocar obturator and cannula relative to each other. The trocar packaging clip includes an anti-rotation structure configured to engage at least one of the trocar and the cannula to prevent relative rotation thereof.

A packaging device for a trocar assembly includes a trocar packaging clip having at least two holding structures configured to be detachably secured to the proximal portions of the trocar obturator and the cannula for retention of the trocar obturator and cannula relative to each other. To provide a packaged medical device in which a medical device in a container is stably fixed and which can be easily opened. Specifically, provided is a packaged medical device comprising a container having an opening portion and a flange portion formed to extend outward in a peripheral portion of the opening portion, a medical device housed inside the container, and a lid member having a gas impermeable film and peelably heat-sealed to the flange portion, in which the inside of the container is set to a negative pressure to the atmospheric pressure so that the medical device is pressed by the lid member and the peel strength to the flange portion of the lid member is 2 to 50 N/in.
Urinary catheter-insertion kits with integrated instructions for use and methods thereof
Urinary catheter-insertion kits can include a working tray, a storage tray, a urinary catheter, and a drainage system including drainage tubing and a drainage receptacle. The working tray can be configured to nest with the storage tray by suspending the working tray from the storage tray. At least the working tray includes a number of preformed sections configured to hold a number of components of the urinary catheter-insertion kit. At least one section of the preformed sections of the working tray includes a catheter section configured to hold the urinary catheter. The storage tray can be configured to hold the drainage system. Methods of urinary catheterization include use of the urinary catheter-insertion kits.
Set of tools for installing an implant
A set of tools for installation of a stem implant into a bone comprises a stem-shaped priming tool (1) having a distal tip (32) and a plurality of cutting teeth (31) along a length thereof and a plurality of stem-shaped broaches (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) of different size. Each of the broaches have a distal tip and a plurality of cutting teeth along a length thereof. The priming tool (1) is shorter than, has more cutting teeth (31) per unit length, and has a sharper distal tip (32) than the smallest broach.
Set of tools for installing an implant
A set of tools for installation of a stem implant into a bone comprises a stem-shaped priming tool (1) having a distal tip (32) and a plurality of cutting teeth (31) along a length thereof and a plurality of stem-shaped broaches (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) of different size. Each of the broaches have a distal tip and a plurality of cutting teeth along a length thereof. The priming tool (1) is shorter than, has more cutting teeth (31) per unit length, and has a sharper distal tip (32) than the smallest broach.
