MULTIFUNCTIONAL ENCLOSURE FOR MEDICAL PROBES
A multifunctional enclosure is described having an elongated sleeve configured with an enlarged opening for the insertion of an elongated member of a medical probe. The multifunctional enclosure is configured to prevent the elongated member of the medical probe from swinging and becoming damaged during transport. The multifunctional enclosure may further comprise an attachment component for securing the medical probe to the multifunctional enclosure. Furthermore, at least one vent may be configured onto the multifunctional enclosure, such as on a first end closure portion. The vent may allow for adequate flow for sterilization and/or drying.
Modular automated physical health testing systems and associated devices and methods
Automated modular physical health testing systems and associated devices and methods are disclosed herein. A modular system configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, a housing, a communications hub, and a plurality of physical health testing devices. The housing integrates the communications hub and stores the plurality of physical health testing devices. The physical health testing devices are in wired and/or wireless communication with the communications hub. Each physical health testing device is configured to generate physical health data of a user and to transmit generated physical health data to the communication hub and/or a user's mobile device. The modular physical health testing system provides an automated physical exam that can be performed at user's homes or other convenient locations.

MACHINE VISION NEEDLE COUNTING IMAGING TRAY
A needle collection and counting tray for use in a clinical setting, such as an operating room, into which a user deposits used needles. The tray is then placed into a counting and identification machine the utilizes object recognition technology to identify and count the needles on the tray.
DISPOSABLE STERILE COVER SYSTEM, COMPONENTS, AND METHODS FOR POWER TOOLS
Example embodiments disclosed herein encompass disposable cover systems for a power tool, as well as covers, components, and methods. A disposable cover system may include a cover defining an inner cavity to receive a power tool and an aperture through which a pass-through to transmit movement from the power tool to outside the cover is extendable. Trapping a portion of a cover which surrounds the aperture, between first and second compressible members for example, may form a seal around the aperture. Transmission components including a pass-through, adapters to adapt a cover to a transmission component, multi-part devices to create an aperture, and related methods are also disclosed.
Method and system for assembling sets of medical instruments and/or pharmaceutical products
A method and system for assembling sets of medical instruments and/or pharmaceutical products. The system includes a control system comprising or being connected to a database comprising data objects corresponding to available objects. An input area is provided to receive batches of unsorted medical instruments or pharmaceutical product containers, and an identification area having an identification unit. A temporary sorting area is also provided, including a plurality of storage positions provided with visual indications capable of visually indicating one of the storage position at a time, and an output area, possibly being overlapping with the input area, arranged to receive medical instruments and/or pharmaceutical products as assembled sets. The controller is arranged to receive information from the identification unit obtained when an item is arranged on the identification area, and to identify the item in the database.
Syringe exchange device
A device configured to receive and safely store a plurality of used needle-containing medical apparatus such as syringes, IV catheter introducers, bodily fluid collection devices and blood collection tube holders and to dispense a sterile medical apparatus having the same or a similar shape, size and configuration as that deposited into the device.
TISSUE THICKNESS COMPENSATOR COMPRISING A RESERVOIR
In various embodiments, a tissue thickness compensator can comprise a compressible extracellular matrix and a bioabsorbable material dispersed within the extracellular matrix, wherein the bioapsorption of the bioabsorbable material is configured to leave behind channels in the extracellular matrix. The tissue thickness compensator can also comprise generation means for generating the ingrowth of tissue into the channels. In at least one embodiment, the tissue thickness compensator can comprise dissolvable wicking members which, when dissolved, can leave behind channels in the tissue thickness compensator. In certain embodiments, the tissue thickness compensator can comprise at least one rupturable capsule.
TEMPERATURE-PROTECTIVE PACKAGE WITH SHAPE-CONFORMING PHASE CHANGE MATERIAL (PCM)
A temperature-protective package includes a rigid container configured to receive a temperature-sensitive product. A flexible liner is attached to the rigid container such that a pocket is formed between the rigid container and the flexible liner. Phase change material (PCM) is situated in the pocket. The PCM conforms to a contoured surface of the rigid container. In an alternative implementation, a temperature-sensitive package includes a pocket of PCM within a flexible liner. The flexible liner defines a preferred shape of the temperature-protective package. The flexible liner also defines an opening for receiving a product. The opening corresponds to the preferred shape. In one implementation, multiple flexible liners can be utilized to define the preferred shape and the opening.
Orthopaedic instrument system including an instrument caddy and method for assembling a surgical instrument
An orthopaedic instrument system including an instrument caddy is disclosed. The instrument caddy is configured to receive one or more cutting broaches to house the cutting broaches between orthopaedic surgical procedures. The instrument caddy is also configured to be used during a surgical procedure to assist a user in assembling the cutting broach with another surgical instrument. A method of assembling a surgical instrument is also disclosed.
