SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR REMOVING PATHOGENS FROM A DENTAL OPERATORY
The present disclosure relates to a device for generating an air containment envelope for the mitigation of pathogen transmission. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a system for removing pathogens from a dental operatory, comprising a manifold in fluid connection with a fluid source, the manifold including a plurality of apertures for directing a fluid stream, a fluid pump for pressurizing a fluid within the fluid source, and processing circuitry configured to instruct the fluid pump to pressurize the fluid, and instruct the fluid pump to pump the pressurized fluid to the manifold such that the directed fluid stream generates a fluid shield relative to an object.
Particle guard system and apparatus
The present disclosure provides generally for a particle guard system and apparatus. The system may comprise temples, shield, and nose bridge. A particle guard may prevent or limit aspiration from entering the user's external environment via shield that covers the nose and mouth. The particle guard may comprise interchangeable components for personalization and various utility. The temples and the nose bridge may be available in various colors and styles for customization of the particle guard. The particle guard may possess attachments for various utility. Temples may comprise integrated attachments. For example, temples may contain a wireless signal device for external communication. The particle guard may comprise a sanitation system. Where the system includes external covering, shield may interface with the external covering via opening in the external covering.
Intubation drape
A medical drape which is positioned over the head and upper torso of a patient is disclosed which includes a head flap, a head portion, a torso portion, and two oppositely disposed arm portions. The head flap is of a sufficient length to extend about the backside of the patient=s head. The head portion includes oppositely disposed side wings which aid in covering the head of a patient. Each arm portion includes an access slot extending through the arm portion.
Bacteria Spread Prevention Tool for Oral Procedures
This present invention relates to a bacteria spread prevention tool designed to be used during oral procedures and is used to prevent the smear or spread of bacteria and viruses. The bacteria spread prevention tool comprises a slightly curved polycarbonic device having an interior suction mechanism. The prevention tool can be placed 4 to 6 inches from the oral cavity of a user, thereby forming a barrier between the user's mouth and the dental care professional, in order to prevent the spread of bacteria, or other pathogens via the oral cavity during dental health checkups or dental procedures. The transparent polycarbonic device provides access to the oral cavity while blocking the spread of aerosols and pathogens.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) for covering the face
An article of personal protective equipment (PPE) for covering a wearer's face when wearing loupes and/or a light mounted to an eyeglass frame, the apparatus including a set of adapters, each adapter mounted or configured for mounting to an eyeglass frame, wherein each adapter has an outward extending protrusion; and a transparent face shield with opposing sidewalls joined by a convex front with upper and lower portions angled inward to cover the wearer's face when wearing the loupes and/or light, each sidewall configured to engage one of the protrusions to align an apex of the convex with the loupes and/or light.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND METHODS FOR PREVENTING SPREAD OF INFECTIOUS DISEASE
Disclosed herein are personal protection equipment systems which provide improved protection from infectious agents, and can be constructed and distributed in high volume during public health crises, such as global pandemics where supplies become limited and bioterrorism events where public panic and uncertainty can provide additional obstacles to conventional protective measures. Methods of implementing protective equipment are also disclosed herein. The protective biohazard equipment disclosed herein can be made in a short amount of time at a low cost using readily available materials.
OPERATING TABLE BARRIERS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
In one embodiment, a barrier includes two side panels extending on parallel planes and spaced laterally apart. Each side panel including a back end, a front edge opposed to the back end, a bottom edge, and an engagement feature on the bottom edge of each side panel. A back panel connects the side panels at the back ends, and a shield extends from an upper end of the back panel at an oblique angle in an upward and forward direction.
Anti-virus bi-directional UV respirator
The present invention relates to health protection systems in general and to respiratory protection systems for both the user and the environment of his people from infections he himself has, having a headgear that a person wears and protects a person from infections and dangers transmitted by the air, and also purifies the air He exhales into the environment.
DEVICE FOR COLLECTION OF EXCESS FLUIDS FROM AN ENDOSCOPE
A device to safely collect any fluid discharged through the biopsy cap into another container without contaminating the surrounding environment. A device that can be attached to an endoscope in order to collect any fluid discharged through an external opening of an endoscope's internal channel.
ORAL MEDICAL ASSIST DEVICE
An oral medical assist device for covering an oral area of a patient, including a mask body, is provided. The mask body, is at least partially transparent and defines an internal space, including a suction connecting portion and an operation portion. The suction connecting portion and the operation portion are configured to opposite to each other. The operation portion includes at least one opening. The suction connecting portion is configured to connect to a medical suction device to absorb objects in the internal space while the mask body covers the patient's oral area. Another oral medical assist device includes a closed end, so that the droplets from the oral area will not be spread outside of the mask body. In this way, the oral medical assist device can reduce or prevent droplets from spreading to the environment when the patient opens his/her mouth.
