Each multi-suction dental device can comprise at least one low-volume evacuation (LVE) suction pathway and at least one high-volume evacuation (HVE) suction pathway.

AEROSOL REDUCTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
20210378778 · 2021-12-09 ·

A system for reducing aerosols emitted from a patient on which a medical procedure is being performed. The system comprises a transparent dome and an adapter assembly configured to releasably support the dome. The system additionally comprises a support assembly configured to support the adapter assembly and the dome. The support assembly is adjustable such that the dome can be selectively positioned over an intended body area of the patient and block aerosols emitted from the intended body area.

SANITARY EXTUBATION COVER AND METHOD FOR ITS USE
20210379309 · 2021-12-09 ·

A sanitary extubation cover used to cover an endotracheal tube and a patient's face in order to accommodate sanitary extubation. The sanitary extubation cover includes a mask and a cover which covers the endotracheal tube. If the patient coughs, the cough would be directed into the mask and the endotracheal tube (which is covered by the cover) but contaminants from the cough would be suppressed from spreading into the open air.

Face shield assemblies for protecting a face of a user are described. The face shield assemblies may be configured for use with a light. In one embodiment, a face shield assembly comprises a face shield having a front shield. The face shield assembly may also comprise a shadow-reduction mount coupled to the face shield. The shadow-reduction mount may have an arm. The shadow-reduction mount may also have a light mount coupled to an end portion of the arm. The light mount may be configured to be coupled to the light. The shadow-reduction mount may be configured to position the light at or below an eye level of the user.

Face Shield Protection Device
20210369383 · 2021-12-02 ·

A face shield protection device including a shield assembly having a frame defining an opening and a transparent shield removably attached to the frame and substantially covering the opening, and a suspension arm attached to the shield assembly. The transparent shield is attached to a first side of the frame in a first receiving engagement and is attached to an opposite second side of the frame in a second receiving engagement, and one or both of the first receiving engagement and the second receiving engagement locks the transparent shield with a portion of the frame. The face shield protection device may further comprise at least one nozzle extending beneath a bottom surface of the transparent shield, wherein suction provided through the at least one nozzle pulls atmosphere from beneath the transparent shield creating negative pressure beneath the transparent shield.

Barrier Shield
20210369382 · 2021-12-02 ·

A shield assembly has a transparent shield element, having an open first end, a second end, and downward curving sides, a mounting plate shaped in the curvature of the shield joined by an upper surface of the mounting plate to the shield element at the second end, a vacuum casing with a first closed end and a second open end wider than the first end joined to a lower surface of the mounting plate within the elongated shield element between the downward curving sides, a vacuum hose connected from a vacuum pump by a quick coupling through the first closed end to inside the vacuum casing, and a medical grade filter covering the second open end of the vacuum casing. Operating the vacuum pump causes air to be drawn under the elongated shield element through the filter into the vacuum casing and through the vacuum hose and the vacuum pump.

DEVICE AND METHOD TO PROTECT MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS FROM PATHOGEN-CONTAINING DROPLETS WHILE ATTENDING TO PATIENTS
