AIRCRAFT INTERIOR WITH REMOVABLE PANELS
An aircraft that includes a body that defines a cabin interior and includes an exterior surface and an interior surface, and at least a first panel member having a front and a back. The back includes a set of panel mounting components thereon. The interior surface of the body includes a set of body mounting components thereon. The set of panel mounting components are removably mounted to the set of body mounting components.
CONSOLE MOUNTED PILOT TRAY ASSEMBLY
A console mounted pilot tray assembly includes an aircraft cockpit having a console. A seat is mounted in the aircraft and faces the console. A side stick is mounted laterally to the console and a leg receiving space is positioned under the console. A mount is positioned under and is mounted to the console. The mount includes a guide rail. A panel has a top side, a bottom side, a front edge, a rear edge, a first side edge and a second side edge. A slide attached to the panel and is moveably mounted to the guide rail. The panel is moved along the guide rail and under the console to define a stored position. The panel is moved to a deployed position. The deployed position is defined as the panel extending outwardly away from the guide rail and the console.
Stowage bin lighting assembly and method for lighting a stowage bin assembly of a vehicle
A stowage bin lighting assembly for mounting to an internal cabin of a vehicle includes a chassis having a plate extending longitudinally between ends. The chassis supports light mount pedestals, wire standoffs, and at least one valance support above the upper surface. The stowage bin lighting assembly includes a light mounted to the light mount pedestals positioned above the plate by the light mount pedestals for providing lighting from the stowage bin assembly to the internal cabin of the vehicle. The stowage bin lighting assembly includes a wire electrically connected to the light to supply power to the light and coupled to at least one of the wire standoffs to control a position of the wire relative to the plate. The stowage bin lighting assembly includes a valance coupled to the valance mount pedestals configured to be coupled to the stowage bin assembly by the valance support.
Mini suite emergency egress solutions
Passenger seats having improved comfort emergency egress solutions for mini suites or other types of passenger seats that have a privacy screen, wall, or sliding door that divides the passenger seat from the aisle area or other common area. Specific embodiments find particular use on-board passenger transportation vehicles, such as aircraft, where comfort and privacy must be balanced with safety and federal regulations.
Compact functional arrangement in a cabin of a vehicle and vehicle with such a functional arrangement
A functional arrangement in a cabin of a vehicle includes a monument with a housing having several side walls, which define an interior space, and at least two adjacently arranged seats each having a backrest and headrest. The seats adjoin an exterior side of a first side wall of the housing, and have a seating direction facing away from the first side wall. The first side wall includes a first surface portion that is located at least sectionally behind the headrests of the at least two seats in a vertical direction and includes at least one bulge extending at least in a horizontal direction between two adjacently lying headrests. At least one piece of equipment is situated in the interior space, extends into the at least one bulge and is usable in the interior space of the monument.
Arrangement in a vehicle cabin with cabin monuments placeable in rows with laminar contact of the lateral surfaces thereof
An arrangement in a cabin of a vehicle has a plurality of cabin monuments, placeable in rows, of which the lateral surfaces are in laminar contact, said cabin monuments having a front side and a rear side and a wall surface of the aircraft fuselage, at least sections of which face toward the cabin of the vehicle and are not aligned parallel with a lengthwise axis of the cabin. The cabin monuments are arranged in rows parallel to the lengthwise axis of the cabin, so that the front sides and the rear sides are each aligned parallel to the lengthwise axis of the cabin. The rear sides of at least two cabin monuments, each of which include storage space for cabin trolleys, are positioned with an offset relative to each other in a direction transverse to the lengthwise axis of the cabin.
AUGMENTED REALITY SYSTEM FOR PILOT AND PASSENGERS
The present invention achieves technical advantages as an aircraft having an augmented reality flight control system integrated with and operable from the pilot seat and an associated pilot headgear unit, wherein the flight control system is supplemented by flight-assisting artificial intelligence and geo-location systems. The present invention includes an augmented reality flight control system incorporating real-world objects with virtual elements to provide relevant data to a pilot during aircraft flight. A translucent substrate is disposed in the pilot's field of view such that the pilot can see therethrough, and observe virtual elements displayed on the substrate. The system includes a headgear that is worn by the pilot. A flight assistance module is configured to receive ii data related to the aircraft and provide predictive assistance to the pilot during flight based on the received data based in part on a pilot profile having preferences related to the pilot.
FLOOR GRID FOR AIRCRAFT
A floor grid includes an outboard member, a first seat track and a second seat track, a first member extending from the outboard member to the first seat track, a second member extending from the first seat track to the second seat track, a first stanchion extending from the outboard member to the first seat track, a second stanchion extending from the outboard member to the second seat track, a third seat track and a fourth seat track, an intercostal extending from the second seat track to the fourth seat track, a third member extending from the outboard member to the third seat track, a fourth member extending from the third seat track to the fourth seat track, a third stanchion extending from the outboard member to the third seat track, and a fourth stanchion extending from the outboard member to the fourth seat track.
Toilet module for a vehicle and a vehicle including a toilet module
A toilet module and a vehicle including a toilet module are provided. An exemplary toilet module includes a toilet unit and a housing. The housing includes a front wall with an access opening, a first functional wall arranged opposite the front wall and supporting the toilet unit, and a second functional wall perpendicular to the front wall and extending between the front wall and the first functional wall. Further, the toilet module includes a storage shelf attached to the housing and a swivable table attached to the housing and movable to an extended configuration. The swivable table overlaps the storage shelf when in the extended configuration.
Bidirectional entry vestibule for aircraft passenger rest cabins
A bi-directional entry vestibule for a passenger aircraft provides passenger access to overhead rest cabins and lower-lobe rest cabins (e.g., on a lower cargo deck) via separate enclosed chambers incorporating ascending and descending staircases respectively. The ascent and descent chambers may be accessed from the main passenger cabin via access doors (one door or separate doors); the ascending and descending access doors may be on opposing sides of the aircraft (e.g., accessible from port-side and starboard-side aisles) or adjacent to each other and accessible via the same aisle. The ascent chamber may include a further transitional space transitioning into an overhead corridor-based cabin, the transitional space including a crew station comprising a fold-down jump seat, communications equipment, and emergency supply storage.
