AIRCRAFT-GALLEY MODULE WITH OPEN/CLOSED-LOOP COOLING/HEATING
The invention relates to An aircraft on-board kitchen module (1) comprising at least one heater and/or cooler with at least one first compartment (2) for drinks and/or food and whose temperature can be conditioned by at least one thermoelectric element (5) having a first and a second heat exchanger (8, 9), one of the heat exchangers (8, 9) forming a cold side and the other heat exchanger (8, 9) forming a hot side of the thermoelectric element (5) such that heat generated by the thermoelectric element (5) is dissipated by a primary coolant from a central cooling system (11) of the aircraft, the primary coolant being supplied via a coolant duct (10) that is selectively supplied with ambient air from the cabin and/or conditioned cold air from the central cooling system (11) of the aircraft.

TROLLEY EXTRACTION DEVICE
A crank assembly for extracting an inner galley trolley from a galley bay is provided. The crank assembly comprises an output shaft configured to rotate about an axis of rotation A for actuating a trolley extraction mechanism to extract an inner galley trolley from a galley trolley bay; a crank arm configured to rotate about the axis of rotation A; a handle connected to the crank arm for rotating the crank arm about the axis of rotation A; and a clutch mechanism. The clutch mechanism is operable to selectively couple the crank arm to the output shaft to selectively transfer rotational movement of the crank arm into rotational movement of the output shaft.

Aft wall for a lavatory monument of an aircraft
An aircraft comprises a fuselage and an aft wall of a lavatory monument within the fuselage and extending radially inwardly relative to the fuselage. The aft wall is removably connected to an outboard wall, a ceiling, and a floor of the lavatory monument.

Health monitoring of an electrical heater of an air data probe
Apparatus and associated methods relate to determining health of an electrical heater of an air data probe based on a comparison between a calculated expected value and a measured value of an electrical property of the electrical heater. The expected value of the electrical property is calculated based in part on the electrical power provided to the electrical heater and further based in part on the aircraft flight parameters and/or environmental conditions. Such aircraft flight parameters and/or environmental conditions can include at least one of: electric power source status, airspeed, air pressure, altitude, air temperature, humidity, liquid water content, ice water content, droplet/particle size distribution, angle of attack, and angle of sideslip. These aircraft flight parameters and/or environmental conditions are received via an aircraft interface.
Aircraft monument composite construction using carbon uni-directional spread flat tow woven fabric
A construction of commercial aircraft interior monument employs carbon fiber Spread Tow Fabric (STF) as face sheets (skins) surrounding a paper honeycomb or foam core to produce flat pressed panels of high strength and desirable thickness. Each individual panel is joined with other panels to construct a modular rectangular cubic able to be modularly coupled with additional structures to form the aircraft monument. The use individual STF panels offer a desirable weight and footprint of a fabricated structure as a whole. Also usable in conjunction with other composite reinforcements, the individual STF panels produce hybrid lay-ups for both pressed flat panel and tooled composite moldings offering a high strength to weight ratio of the overall monument.

Galley systems for an internal cabin of a vehicle
A galley system within an internal cabin of an aircraft includes one or more inboard cart compartments that are configured to removably retain one or more first galley carts, and one or more outboard cart compartments. The outboard cart compartment(s) are configured to removably retain one or more second galley carts. The inboard cart compartment(s) extend forwardly and/or rearwardly in relation to the outboard cart compartment(s).
