TRAVEL PILLOW
In one or more embodiments, the present invention provide a versatile travel pillow that provides support to the user's head, neck, and shoulders, prevents the user from sliding sideways with respect to the seat, can be quickly and easily secured to the headrest or armrest of a seat or chair, and can be quickly and easily moved from one vehicle seat to another.
Aircraft seat module
An aircraft seat module includes an enclosure unit which delimits a flight passenger seating region at least partially, and includes a door unit which at least closes a passage region to the flight passenger seating region in one or more operation states. The aircraft seat module further includes a bearing device which supports the door unit movably relative to the enclosure unit and has for this purpose a bearing module having a first bearing element and a second bearing element which are supported such that they are movable relative to each other.
Combination energy impact attenuation, vibration mitigation and flotation device for aircraft seating applications
A combination adaptive energy absorption and emergency flotation device for positioning beneath a plurality of seat pans of a seat assembly in an aircraft seating application. The device includes a plurality of fluidly coupled inflatable elastic bladders, at least one constrictor valve fluidly coupling at least two adjacent ones of the plurality of inflatable elastic bladders allowing fluid flow therethrough in response to predetermined pressure on the device from the plurality of seat pans, and a fluid supply source fluidly coupled to the plurality of inflatable elastic bladders for outputting a positive flow of fluid to the plurality of inflatable elastic bladders, wherein the adaptive energy absorption device is detached from the plurality of seat pans to allow removal from beneath the plurality of seat pans for use as an emergency flotation device.
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR A CABIN OF AN AIR OR RAIL TRANSPORT VEHICLE USING A PNEUMATIC AND THERMAL AIR SOURCE WHICH IS SEPARATE FROM THE AIR CONDITIONING SOURCE
The invention relates to an air conditioning system for a cabin (10) of an aircraft (80) comprising: a bleed air source (12); a ram-air circulation channel (13); a network of pipes and control valves; an air cycle turbine engine comprising at least one compressor (3) and a power turbine (4) which are mechanically connected to one another; and at least one primary cooling exchanger (PHX) which is accommodated in said channel (13), characterized in that said pipe network comprises a thermal power pipe (53) which is suitable for being able to fluidically connect, upon control of at least one control valve (25, 21), said air outlet (4b) of said power turbine (4) and said ram-air circulation channel (13) upstream of said primary exchanger (PHX) so that said bleed air expanded by said power turbine (4) can form a thermal energy source for said ram air being supplied to said primary circuit of said primary exchanger (PHX).
AIRCRAFT SEAT
An aircraft seat includes an actuator and a movement transmission device. The movement transmission device includes a frame having at least one bearing face and one braking face; a drive body configured to being rotated relative to the frame, the drive body having a bearing face and a braking face; and an elastic element suitable for keeping the braking face of the drive body at a defined distance from the braking face of the frame, the elastic element having a determined stiffness and being prestressed such that, when an axial load greater than a threshold load is applied to the drive body, the braking face of the drive body comes into contact with the at least one braking face of the frame.
PASSENGER SEAT ARRANGEMENT
The present invention relates to an aircraft cabin having a longitudinal axis and comprising at least one aisle and an arrangement of seat units, a seat unit comprising, in particular, a seat provided with a base and a backrest as well as a foot area, the seat being movable between a sitting position and a lying position, the arrangement of seat units comprising: at least one rear group of two seat units, at least one front group of two seat units, each group of two seat units comprising a seat unit arranged on the side of the aisle and referred to as the “aisle-side seat unit” and a seat unit arranged on the side of a window and referred to as the “window-side seat unit”, each seat of a group of seat units having an axis forming a non-zero angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft cabin, such that the seats of each group are facing the aisle, a first passage for accessing the aisle associated with the window-side seat unit of the rear group extending between the foot area and the seat of the aisle-side seat unit of the rear group, and a second passage for accessing the aisle associated with the window-side seat unit of the rear group extending between the aisle-side seat unit of the front group and the foot area of the aisle-side seat unit of the rear group.
LEGREST FOR AN AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEAT, COMPRISING A DEVICE
A legrest for an aircraft passenger seat, comprising a device, wherein: the device has a housing; the housing has a first and a second housing half; the two housing halves are pivotally connected to one another; the housing is designed such that a life jacket for an aircraft passenger can be stowed therein; the device is provided on a main structure of the legrest; the first housing half is spring-loaded with respect to the second housing half by the spring force of a spring device of the device, such that the first housing half can be moved from an open position relative to the second housing half towards a closed position relative to the second housing half.
MOUNTING RAIL ARRANGEMENT FOR AN AIRCRAFT FLOOR, FLOOR STRUCTURE AND AIRCRAFT HAVING THE SAME
A mounting rail arrangement for an aircraft floor, floor structure and aircraft having the same. To allow full floor structural decoupling for monuments and/or cabin attendant seats, a mounting rail arrangement includes two mounting rails having mounting holes distributed along their longitudinal direction.
