FUEL CELL SYSTEM
A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell unit having an air inlet, a fuel inlet and an electrical energy outlet and a fuel cell exhaust outlet and a turbo-compressor unit to convert air from an air supply to compressed inlet air for the fuel cell unit. The turbo-compressor unit comprising a turbine and a compressor connected to a common rotatable shaft. The system also includes means for obtaining conditioned air exhausted from an enclosed space and directing the conditioned exhaust air to the turbine of turbo-compressor unit such that the conditioned exhaust air is expanded by the turbine causing rotation of the shaft and corresponding rotation of the compressor, means for providing air from the air supply to the compressor to be compressed and output from the compressor unit and provided as compressed inlet air to the air inlet of the fuel cell unit.
INFLATABLE SEPARATING REGION FOR A VEHICLE INTERIOR
An inflatable separating region for a vehicle interior, in particular for a passenger cabin of an aircraft, includes a supporting structure with interconnected inflatable tubes made of a flexible material and arranged, in an inflated state, to form a self-supporting frame structure for the separating region; and a covering with flexible wall membranes which connect the inflatable tubes to one another in a planar manner to separate off the separating region in the inflated state from the vehicle interior.
PASSENGER SEATING WITH FRONT ROW BULKHEAD INTEGRATION
A passenger seating installation for a vehicle comprises a front seat located adjacent a bulkhead and facing in a direction that is oblique to the direction of travel of the vehicle. The bulkhead includes a recess for receiving the head of a passenger in the front seat in the event of an accident. The recess is spaced apart from the front seat in the direction of travel and in a direction that is obliquely disposed with respect to the direction in which the seated passenger faces. The recess allows the front seat to be located closer to the bulkhead than would be the case in the absence of the recess, which can increase seat density in a seating area.
Dynamic electro-mechanical ottoman
A dynamic electro-mechanical ottoman may include a rail assembly with one or more actuatable tracks coupled to one or more rails. The dynamic electro-mechanical ottoman may include a cushion assembly translatable via the one or more actuatable tracks between a first translation position and a second translation position. The cushion assembly may include one or more cross plates coupled to a pivot shaft and the one or more actuatable tracks, and a cushion sub-assembly. The cushion sub-assembly may include one or more support plates coupled to a cushion and the pivot shaft, and may be rotatable about an axis through the pivot shaft between a first rotation position and a second rotation position. A top surface of the cushion may at least partially face an aircraft seat when the cushion sub-assembly is in the second rotation position.
SEAT ASSEMBLY HAVING STABLIZATION SYSTEM
A seat assembly includes a seat cushion configured to support an individual, a backrest coupled to the seat cushion, a headrest coupled to the backrest, and one or more stabilization systems coupled to one or both of the backrest or the headrest. The one or more stabilization systems is moveable between a normal position and a stabilizing deployed position configured to stabilize a position of one or both of a head or a torso of the individual.
Aircraft seat, aircraft seat arrangement having an aircraft seat, and aircraft having an aircraft seat arrangement
An aircraft seat having a voltage supply connection assigned only to the aircraft seat and/or at least one data connection assigned only to the aircraft seat, a voltage supply unit assigned to the aircraft seat and having a voltage input for connection to an on-board voltage network of an aircraft and at least one voltage output, each connected to another of the voltage supply connections. A switching arrangement is assigned only to the aircraft seat and connected between the voltage output and the voltage supply connection and/or between the data connection and a data network. A control unit is assigned only to the aircraft seat and connected to the switching arrangement. An infrared reading device is connected to the control unit and assigned only to the aircraft seat to wirelessly receive infrared signals from an external infrared transmitting device. The infrared reading device can receive infrared signals from a predetermined group of predetermined infrared signals, and the control unit can activate the voltage supply connections and/or at least one of the data connections by the switching arrangement, only in response to reception of a predetermined infrared signal.
Tray table apparatus for a console element, console element and seat unit
A tray table apparatus includes a table carrier structure releasably mountable to a console element, wherein the table carrier structure is configured as a housing. The tray table apparatus further includes an adjustment mechanism housed within the table carrier structure, wherein the adjustment mechanism has a table support element movable relative to the table carrier structure. The tray table apparatus also includes a table element coupled to the table support element and together movable between at least a retracted stowed position in which the table element is housed within the table carrier structure and a deployed use position in which the table element protrudes from the table carrier structure.
Limited swivel apparatus for a passenger seat
The present disclosure provides a swivel stop comprising a rotating member, a first boss coupled to the rotating member and a second boss coupled to the rotating member, and a second plate having a first interference surface and a second interference surface. An interference between the first boss and the first interference surface and the second boss and the second interference surface tends to limit the rotation of the rotating member with respect to the second plate. The swivel stop may further comprise a rail wherein the second plate is configured to translate along the rail.
AN AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SUITE
An aircraft passenger suite (100) is provided. The suite (100) comprises an aircraft seat (110) for use by a passenger. The suite (100) also comprises a controller for controlling a number of output states (240) of the suite, the controller comprising a logic condition receiver operable to receive a logic condition input (210). The suite (100) also comprises sensor equipment operable to provide a sensor input (220) to the controller, the sensor input (220) providing an indication of at least one attribute of a passenger of the suite (100). The sensor equipment comprises one or more of: an image sensor (151, 152) a pressure sensor (154) and a physiological sensor. The controller is configured to control at least one of the output states (240) of the suite based on both the logic condition input (210) and the sensor input (220).
