Radioactive granular dispensing device
There is disclosed a system for dispensing granular material, comprising: a nozzle attached to a granular filler configured to couple with a trefoil filling port attached to a can for hot isostatic pressing, wherein the nozzle opens and closes via a rotary actuation. In an embodiment, the system comprises a single fill port design, such as one having a concentric, tube-in-tube design. There is also disclosed a method of filling a container with a granular material, by connecting a filling nozzle to a filling port, opening/closing the filling nozzle, attaching the filling nozzle to the filling port, aligning at least one opening of the filling nozzle with an opening in the filling port; and dispensing granular material into the container.

Packaging machine and method for introducing bulk materials into containers
A packaging machine and method for filling bulk materials into packages with a rotatable machine frame and a plurality of circumferentially arranged filling spouts. During frame rotation, bulk materials are filled into packages. A machine silo is configured at the machine frame which has a storage volume for storing a quantity of bulk materials for filling a plurality of packages. Bulk materials are filled into the attributed packages from the silo through the filling spout. The machine silo is connected with a material supply with a controllable closing member for feeding bulk materials to the machine silo. A controller controls the closing member of the material supply dependent on the fill level to reduce the height of fall of the bulk materials being fed into the silo, or to avoid a free fall of the bulk materials during the feeding of bulk materials into the machine silo.

Vacuum apparatus for filling bulk containers
A bulk container vacuum filing system includes a base portion and movable portion. The bulk container vacuum filing system serves to position and maintain a bulk container within a chamber, seal the interior of the chamber, dispense material into the bulk container, and draw a vacuum or create positive pressure within the chamber and/or the bulk container during at least a portion of the dispensing process. Base portion of the bulk container vacuum filing system includes a vacuum source and a material supply line along with electronic controls and sensors for operating and monitoring the filling process. The moveable portion include a support structure for supporting the bulk container, such as a bulk bag, in the proper place.

Oral and/or buccal delivery pouch and method of making same
A vertical form, fill, and seal (VFFS) machine and method for producing an oral sachet designed to be placed in a users mouth, the oral sachet. The oral sachet includes permeable paper that does not contain fiberglass. The permeable paper forms a pouch that includes a top seal arranged at first end of the pouch, a bottom seal arranged at a second end of the pouch opposite from the first end, a vertical seal that extends from the top seal to the bottom seal, and a cavity located between the top seal and the bottom seal. Granular contents, including at least one granular or powdered component, are arranged within the cavity of the permeable-paper pouch.
