Systems and methods for sterile delivery of prostheses
Systems and methods are disclosed for sterile delivery of prostheses that protect refined and/or conditioned surface properties and thereby reduce aging of surface properties in prostheses. An example of the system includes a partially custom-shaped holder that also serves as an insertion tool that holds a customized dental prosthesis in a pre-defined position inside a titanium container that is hermetically sealed. Container materials serve as a getter or catalyst with respect to the osseoconductive surface. An example of the method includes laser welding to hermetically seal a metal container as packaging for a prosthesis with a metal foil, and the sterilization of the packaged and sealed prosthesis with dry heat.

Film securing apparatus and method
Systems, apparatuses, and methods to secure a film to a container are provided. An example sealing device utilizes film from a supply of film to seal a lid onto a container. Various sizes of containers are usable with some example sealing devices. Additional features, such as printing on the film and piercing the film for ventilation and/or insertion of a straw are contemplated. One or more markings along the film may be utilized for confirming that an approved film has been loaded into the sealing device. In response, various components or features of the sealing device may be appropriately enabled or disabled. The one or more markings may also be utilized to convey data to the sealing device regarding the installed film, such as for improved operation thereof.
Methods and apparatus for packaging products
Provided is a method and machine for packaging products, whereby a tray is generated by means of bonding a plastic film to a base film, the tray including a cavity of a given area and a rim surrounding the cavity. The cavity is generated by applying a given pressure on a forming area of the films. Before generating the tray and before pressing the base film, a support cut is generated in the forming area of the base film, such that with the subsequent pressure on the base film at least one gap is formed in the cavity of the tray as a result the support cut.
PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A BLISTER STRIP FOR A DRY POWDER INHALER
A process for producing a blister strip is provided. The blister strip contains two or more different formulations of powdered medicament for inhalation. The blister strip has a base in which blister cavities are formed. A first set of cavities each contain a first medicament formulation and are covered by a first lid material. A second set of cavities each contain a second medicament formulation and are covered by a second, separate lid material.
DEEP-DRAWING PACKAGING MACHINE WITH IMPULSE SEALING BARS AND IMPULSE SEALING METHOD
The disclosure relates to a deep-drawing packaging machine comprising, in a direction of production, a forming station for producing trays in a film web, a loading stretch for filling the trays with a product, a sealing device for sealing the trays with a top film, as well as a cutting device for separating finished packagings. The sealing device comprises a first sealing tool for a first sealing cycle and a second sealing tool for a second sealing cycle. The first sealing tool comprises at least one first pair of impulse sealing bars oriented in a first orientation relative to the direction of production for producing first sealing seam sections, and the second sealing tool comprises at least one second pair of impulse sealing bars oriented in a second orientation relative to the direction of production for producing second sealing seam sections.
Pet food and manufacturing method thereof
Disclosed are a pet food and a manufacturing method thereof. The pet food of the present invention includes a storage body having a can shape, an inner cap sealing an upper end of the storage body and provided in a disposable use, an outer cap detachably coupled to the storage body to cover the inner cap, and a plurality of feed bodies stored in the storage body, wherein a plurality of powder members are mixed in the storage body and when the storage body is shaken before feeding the feed to a pet, the plurality of powder members is coated on the plurality of feed bodies.
Cover for bottle, bottle comprising cover and methods
A cover (52) for protection of a neck (44) and a closure member (46) of a bottle (42), wherein the cover (52) comprises a sleeve (54); wherein the sleeve (54) comprises a stretchable paper material (12); wherein the sleeve (54) is configured to enclose the neck (44); and wherein the stretchability according to ISO 1924-3:2005 of the stretchable paper material (12) the sleeve (54) is at least 5% in the machine direction (MD) and at least 5% in the cross direction (CD). A bottle (42) comprising a cover (52), a method of forming a cover (52) for a bottle (42), and a method of attaching a cover (52) to a bottle (42), are also provided.
METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY CREASING A FOLDED BOX HAVING INSERTED PACKAGED GOODS
The invention relates to a method for automatically creasing a folded box having inserted packaged goods, wherein the side walls of the folded box are creased by means of a creasing station which comprises a creasing tool having a rotatably mounted creasing roller for creasing a planar workpiece and a rotatably mounted counter-pressure roller which are retained at one end on a common support, wherein the distance between the two rollers can be varied, wherein the creasing tool is fastened to a movement system for three-dimensional displaceability, and wherein the following steps are carried out: a) providing the folded box, which is open at the top in the vertical direction and has inserted packaged goods; b) determining the dimensions of the folded box and the filling height of the packaged goods; c) creasing the side walls of the folded box, a first side wall being creased at a first creasing height associated with the filling height determined in step b). The counter-pressure roller is mounted parallel to the creasing roller; the counter-pressure roller and the creasing roller can be displaced relative to one another in order to set a distance from one another; and, during the creasing process, when the creasing tool reaches a vertical edge of the folded box, the roller located outside the folded box is pivoted through 90° about the roller located inside the folded box, the distance between the creasing roller and the counter-pressure roller being changed.
Sealing supported by pressurized air
A method of closing a packaging tray comprises arranging a packaging tray between a lower tool and an upper tool of a sealing station, positioning a cover film above the packaging tray between the lower tool and the upper tool, and pressing together the cover film and the packaging tray by a lower sealing surface of the lower tool and an upper sealing surface of the upper tool cooperating with the lower sealing surface. During the pressing together, a connection is established between the cover film and the packaging tray along a sealing seam. While the cover film and the packaging tray are being pressed together, an overpressure is locally generated by supplying pressurized gas from a pressurized-gas source, the overpressure cooperating as a counterpressure with the lower sealing surface or with the upper sealing surface so as to press the cover film and the packaging tray together.
