Apparatus and method for stacking banknotes, and system for packaging banknotes
According to one embodiment, a banknote stacking apparatus includes a first weight measurement part, a second weight measurement part, and a controller. The first weight measurement part measures a weight of a first banknote bundle. Banknotes laminated along a thickness direction of the banknotes are bundled as the first banknote bundle. The second weight measurement part measures a weight of a second banknote bundle. A first predetermined number of first banknote bundles laminated are bundled as the second banknote bundle. The controller compares the weight measured by the first weight measurement part with the weight measured by the second weight measurement part, and decides whether the number of first banknote bundles bundled as the second banknote bundle is smaller than the first predetermined number, based on a comparison result of the weight.

SEWN AND PERFORATED STACK OF ABSORBENT SHEETS
The invention provides a stack comprising a plurality of absorbent sheets stacked in facing arrangement. The stack is bound along its top edge by at least one line of stitches comprising a plurality of spaced apart stitch holes and a thread disposed therein. Individual sheets further comprise a line of perforations comprising a plurality of spaced apart perforation holes. The line of stitches and the line of perforations are such that there is generally a one-to-one numerical correspondence amongst at least a majority of the plurality of stitch holes and perforation holes.

Banknote strapping device and methods
A banknote strapping device comprises a banknote floor moveable generally parallel to a first linear direction from a floor home position to a floor strapping position, a banknote cradle having a cradle stacking position, and a plunger assembly having an anvil, wherein the plunger assembly is configured to move the anvil generally parallel to the first linear direction from an anvil home position on a first side of the cradle stacking position of the banknote cradle to an anvil strapping position located on a second side of the cradle stacking position. When a first predetermined number of banknotes have been stacked on the banknote cradle, a stack of banknotes that had been stacked thereupon is transferred to the banknote floor positioned at the floor home position, wherein the anvil moves the stack of banknotes and the banknote floor to a strapping position at which the stack of banknotes is strapped.

Method for manufacturing curved edge cigarette rolling paper
A method of manufacturing packaged curved edge cigarette rolling papers including stacking a cigarette rolling paper blanks to form a leaf stack. The leaf stack is enclosed within a folded cover to form a covered leaf stack. A band is wrapped around the covered leaf stack to hold the leaf stack in alignment with the cover while the cover and leaf stack is die cut to form packaged curved edge cigarette rolling papers. The curved edge is continuous arc, for example an elliptical arc which eliminates the corners that can interfere with cigarette hand rolling.
