DUST EXTRACTION CONDUCTS AND PROCESSES

An example system comprises a water-soluble unit dose article comprising a water-soluble fibrous non-woven sheet and a granular laundry detergent. The water-soluble fibrous non-woven sheet is shaped to form a partially sealed internal compartment and has an air permeability comprised between 5 m.sup.3/m.sup.2/min and 200 m.sup.3/m.sup.2/min. The granular laundry detergent is comprised within said internal compartment and comprises a plurality of particles, wherein the plurality of particles comprises zeolite particles. The system comprises sealing jaws, wherein at least one of the sealing jaws is a heated sealing jaw, wherein a bottom seal of the internal compartment is sandwiched between the jaws. The jaws comprise a non-stick coating in contact with the bottom seal and a first dust extraction conduct to direct a gas flow away from an area surrounding a top section of the sealing jaws or away from a bottom section of the internal compartment.

SHRINK SLEEVE APPLICATOR AND RELATED ROLLER CONVEYOR ARRANGEMENT
20170190452 · 2017-07-06 ·

A shrink sleeve apparatus is disclosed herein that includes a shrink sleeve applicator, a downstream heat shrink station, and a horizontal conveyor having side-by-side rollers that have a circumscribing outer portion with at least one high traction segment and at least one low traction segment. A method of applying a shrink sleeve to an article is disclosed that includes providing a conveyor having rollers as disclosed herein, positioning the rollers such that low traction segments of the rollers support the article as it passes a shrink sleeve applicator, which applies a shrink sleeve. The high traction segments of the rollers do not interfere with sleeve application. As the conveyor moves the article and sleeve through a downstream heat shrink zone, the rollers are rotated so that the high traction segments contact the article and sleeve to assure rotation of the article and sleeve during heat shrink.

METHOD OF SEALING A CONTAINER COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE PLUG, PARTICULARLY A CARPULE, INSERTION MEANS AND ASSOCIATED SEALING LINE
20170081056 · 2017-03-23 ·

Disclosed is a method of sealing a container with a liquid, the container including a body with an opening at at least one end and including at least one sealing plug, designed to seal the opening after filling, the filling defining a free surface S for filling, the filling having allowed a head space to remain in the container. The method includes: introduction of at least one rod parallel to an inside wall of the body of the container; mechanical insertion of the plug in the body, along the at least one insertion rod, generating at least one channel C, the air of the head space being evacuated between the plug and the rod; and withdrawal of the at least one rod while leaving the plug in place at the level of insertion of the preceding step. Also disclosed are the associated device and the industrial production line.
