Apparatus for extracting stacked articles from a cardboard container
Apparatus for extracting stacked articles from cardboard containers includes a store receiving the containers with a bottom closed by a tab; a rest and sliding plane substantially vertical and transversal to the store; a channel in a second unloading position, distant from the first pick-up position, for unloading the articles in the containers; abutting and folding means, lateral to the store near the first pick-up position for abutting and folding about the tab and opening the bottoms of the containers; an abutting plane substantially horizontal and transversal to the rest and sliding plane and lateral to the store between the first pick-up position and the unloading channel, to retain the articles inside the containers once the bottoms are open, and having an opening at the inlet of the unloading channel.
Bundle of tubular and/or rod shaped glass articles, method for its fabrication as well as for unpacking said bundle
A bundle of tubular and/or rod-shaped glass articles is provided that includes a longest dimension, a plurality of layers (N.sub.L) of the glass articles, and a thread-like element. The longest dimension extends in a first direction. The glass articles in each layer are arranged side by side in a second direction. The plurality of layers are arranged side by side in a third direction. The first, second, and third directions being perpendicular to one another. The thread-like element is around two of the glass articles in at least one layer so that the two glass articles are spaced apart.
AN APPARATUS FOR EXTRACTING STACKED ARTICLES FROM A CARDBOARD CONTAINER
Unpacking system and unpacking method
An unpacking system that unpacks a box having flaps, including: an unsealing unit that cuts a proximity region where flaps facing each other in a closed state of flaps of the box come close together; a lid-opening unit that opens, at a predetermined angle exceeding 90 degrees, a predetermined flap of the flaps having been cut by the unsealing unit; and a flap cutting unit that cuts, along a side surface of the box, a base end side of the predetermined flap opened at the predetermined angle.
STRAP-SEGMENT-CUTTING SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a strap-segment-cutting system for locating and removing strap segments from an object, such as a metal coil.
CASE UNPACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method for unpacking a case are provided. The system may comprise a work surface that defines a cutting, extraction, and unloading position and a robot configured to move the cases between the respective positions. The robot may first engage and position the case in the cutting position, wherein a plurality of cutting arms cut a first pair of sides simultaneously near the case bottom. The robot rotates the case and the cutting arms cut another pair of sides simultaneously near the case bottom. The robot then moves the case from the cutting position to the extraction position, where the case bottom is retained and removed from the case. The robot then moves the bottomless case from the extraction position to the unloading position adjacent to the work surface, wherein the product inside the case is deposited into a receptacle through the open case bottom.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOVING AND UNBUNDLING A CARTON STACK
A system and method for moving carton stacks from a pallet to a receiving position, where the system comprises an industrial robot provided with a gripping head, where the system comprises at least one position for a pallet holding several carton stacks, a receiving position arranged to receive a carton stack in a vertical orientation, and a waste bin for receiving cut holding straps, where a carton stack is moved from a horizontal position at the pallet to a vertical position at the receiving position by the robot, where the strap is cut off by the gripping head at the receiving position, and that the strap is held by the gripping head and moved to the waste in, where the strap is released into the waste bin. The advantage of the invention is that a carton stack can be moved to a vertical position at a conveyor.
Apparatus and method for removing twine from a bale
An apparatus for removing twine from a bale is described herein. The apparatus includes a frame having a mounting portion configured to releasably mount to a vehicle and two opposed arms rigidly coupled to and extending in a common direction from the mounting portion. The apparatus also includes a bale grabbing mechanism coupled to the frame and configured to releasably secure the bale against the opposed arms of the frame, a cutting mechanism movably coupled to one of the opposed arms of the frame, the cutting mechanism including a cutting element being configured to cut the twine and a twine grabbing mechanism coupled to the other opposed arm of the frame. The twine grabbing mechanism is configured to retain the twine after the twine has been cut by the cutting mechanism.
Gripping device for gripping a binding material from an object
A gripping device for gripping a binding material from an object comprises first and second elongated blades. The first and second elongated blades are arranged parallel and stationary in relation to each other, and they comprise wedge-shaped protrusions. The adjacent wedge-shaped protrusions of each elongated blades form spacing between said adjacent wedge-shaped protrusions. The device comprises also a third elongated blade arranged between said first and second elongated blades. The third elongated blade comprises finger like protrusions, and is arranged to move in relation to said first and second elongated blades in the direction of said longitudinal axis and between first and second positions. In the first position the finger like protrusions form openings and in the second position the finger like protrusions are deflected from the first position so to closing the openings.
