Method and apparatus for filling and/or emptying flexible containers
A filling and/or emptying apparatus (I) for filling and/or emptying flexible containers (5) having a filling and/or emptying neck (2) with an open end portion and at least one deformable disposable fastening ring (9), wherein the ring (9) is designed in relation to the internal diameter of the neck (2) such that once a container edge (7) is folded over around the ring, it is possible to insert the ring (9) in an end portion of the neck (2) so that the ring (9) is arranged substantially concentrically with the neck (2), and a radially outer fold-over portion (8) of the container edge (7) is arranged and/or clamped between an inner surface of the neck (2) and a radially outer surface. It is possible to press the ring (9) into a sealing portion (15) of the neck (2), which is arranged after the end portion in the axial direction (A) and has a smaller internal diameter than the end portion. The ring (9) undergoes deformation in the radial direction, so that the insertion and/or pressing into the interior of the neck (2) leads to a radial deformation and a counterposed pressure force which presses the outer fold-over portion (8) of the container edge (7) against the inner surface of the neck (2), thereby sealing the container (5) against the neck (2).
FILLING DEVICE
A filling device for decanting material from a flexible bulk material container is provided. The filling device has a hollow body that has an upper opening face and a lower opening face. The upper end of the hollow body projects into the interior of the flexible bulk material container so that material from the flexible bulk material container can enter the hollow body via the upper opening face. At the lower end of the hollow body there is a closure that has an upper plate and a lower plate. The lower plate can be pivoted about the axis of a bolt from a first position in which it completely closes the opening of the upper plate to a second position in which the opening of the upper plate is at least slightly open. The lower plate has a structure that forms at least part of the standing face.
SQUEEZER AND LIQUID DISCHARGE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A a squeezer and fluid discharge system and method are disclosed. The fluid discharge system includes a container, a liner bag, a squeezing device and a driving device, the liner bag is installed in the container, and the driving device is connected to the squeezing device and used to drive the squeezing device. The squeezing device comprises at least two rollers, and the liner bag is formed by welding a front panel and a rear panel and is provided with a discharge port which is arranged adjacent to the weld line at the bottom of the liner bag.
FIXING ASSEMBLY AND FIXING DEVICE
A fixing assembly includes a connecting sleeve, a spike member, and an elastic member; the spike member is rotatably connected to the connecting sleeve; one end of the elastic member is connected to the connecting sleeve, and the other end of the elastic member is connected to the spike member; the elastic member at least helically surrounds and abuts against the outer peripheral wall of the spike member, and the elastic member is configured to generate elastic deformation when the spike member rotates relative to the connecting sleeve along a direction opposite to the helical surrounding direction of the elastic member; there is an included angle between the direction of elastic deformation and the axial extension direction of the spike member to form a helical convex elastic structure.
RECEIVER ACTUATION SYSTEM FOR OPENING A GATE ON A PORTABLE BULK MATERIAL CONTAINER
This disclosure provides a discharge actuation apparatus that is configured to not only fully open and close a sliding gate of a bulk material container, but also move the gate pin to a neutral position with respect to a keeper slot of the bulk container and a receiver slot of the discharge actuation apparatus to ensure proper alignment of the receiver slot and the keeper slot with the gate pin of the bulk container to reduce the likelihood of damage to the receiver or the bulk container during the container's replacement on to the receiver.
LIQUID TRANSPORT SYSTEM AND A LINER BAG AND A METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A liquid transport system, a liner bag and a method of using the same are disclosed. The liquid transport system includes a intermediate bulk container and a liner bag, wherein the intermediate bulk container includes a base and a side wall mounted to the base, the base is provided with a valve port, and the liner bag includes a liner bag body and a discharge port. The liner bag body is formed by hermetically welding a front panel and a rear panel along the periphery thereof, and the discharge port is hermetically connected to the liner bag body, and the distance between an edge of the discharge port and a weld line of the liner bag body is set to a minimum. The liner bag is placed in the intermediate bulk container and the discharge port of the liner bag is installed in the valve port.
Apparatus for Transferring Process Material Between a First Container and a Second Container, and Method for This Purpose
The apparatus for transferring process material between a first container and a second container has, as its essential constituent parts, at least one first tensioning unit, which has a first tensioner and a second tensioner, which can be actuated independently of one another, and also a tubular liner piece, which extends indirectly between the containers in order to seal off the transition between the containers from the exterior. The tensioning unit has fixed in it, temporarily, the near end portion of the liner piece and the near end portion of a tubular liner remainder left over from a previous transfer operation. In specific applications, a transfer means is installed between the containers. The process material is usually of a sensitive naturee.g. a pharmaceutical componentand must be neither contaminated by the exterior surroundings nor pass into the surroundings. The containers are typically constituent parts of a production installation, such as big bags, steel containers or drums. The invention also relates to a method for using the apparatus.
Method for storage and/or transport of lactide particles
A method for storage and/or transport of solid lactide particles in a container, includes the steps of a) inserting the lactide particles into the container, b) storing and/or transporting the lactide particles for a period of time in the container, and c) removing the lactide particles from the container. The lactide particles are contained in a big-bag having at least one flexible layer of a plastic material. Storage and/or transport of lactide particles in such big-bag has the advantage that big-bags allow mechanical handling in case of chunks formed by the lactide particles.
