An optimal package structure and an amount of refrigerant to insert into the package structure are determined based upon product information, consumer preference information, and weather information. The optimal package structure and the amount of refrigerant are an optimized combination that is effective to both protect the product from damage and preserve the product from spoilage. A package is constructed to contain the product according to the optimal package structure and the amount of refrigerant is inserted into the structure.

Enhanced apparatus for filling bags
11485525 · 2022-11-01 · ·

An enhanced apparatus (10) for filling bags containing products, in particular fruit and vegetable products, arranged in first bags (16) having dimensions smaller than second bags filled with said first bags and comprising a feeding station (12) which feeds first bags (16) to a second bag filling station (18) which fills second bags with the first bags (16), a meshed material feeding station (20) to form bands of second bags, a closing and cutting station (22) which closes and cuts second bags filled with the first bags, said filling station (18) being an intermediate station between said meshed material feeding station (20) and said closing and cutting station (22), the apparatus comprising automatic sorting and selection means, integrated in the filling station (18), which automatically sort and select the first bags (16) fed by the feeding station (12) to transportation means suitable for moving said first bags (16), after being sorted, towards collection/accumulation means comprising unloading means providing for a centered downloading of said first bags into second bags.

Box packing device

A box packing device includes a first arm, a first hand, and a controller. The first hand includes a hand base, a gripping mechanism at the hand base and including a gripper to grip an upper-end of a flap of a large box, and a holding mechanism at the hand base and including a holder to hold an inner box. The controller controls the operation of the first arm and the first hand so as to perform a developing operation in which the gripping part of the gripping mechanism moves in a horizontal plane so as to develop the large box while gripping the upper-end part of the flap part of the large box in a folded state, and an accommodating operation in which the holder of the holding mechanism accommodates the inner box into the developed large box while holding the inner box.

PACKAGING SYSTEM INCLUDING A SHRINK WRAP DEVICE FOR WRAPPING CONTAINERS THAT INCLUDE ENVIRONMENTALLY SENSITIVE PHARMACEUTICALS

A fulfillment system is provided and includes a perishable drug filling system and a non-perishable drug filling system. A shipping station is provided for delivering the coolers and the boxes to at least one delivery service. A conveyor is configured to move the boxes and the coolers from the drug filling systems to the shipping station. A decision station is located along the conveyor and is configured to determine if a container on the conveyor is a cooler or a box. The conveyor is configured to direct the coolers to a shrink wrap station and to direct the boxes to the shipping station while bypassing the shrink wrap station. The shrink wrap station is configured to apply a wrapper around the cooler and apply heat to the wrapper to shrink the wrapper around the cooler with the wrapper having a transparent section over a label on the cooler.

Dispensing machine for aerosol precursor

A machine for dispensing an aerosol precursor composition for use with aerosol delivery devices. The machine may include a plurality of sources of dispensable, liquid aerosol precursor components. The plurality of sources may differ in the liquid aerosol precursor components being dispensable therefrom. The machine may include a user interface configured to allow a user to select an amount of the liquid aerosol precursor components for dispensing. The machine may also include a dispenser for dispensing the aerosol precursor components in response to the selection made on the user interface.

METHOD OF FILLING AN INSULATED SHIPPING CONTAINER WITH LOOSE-FILL ORGANIC INSULATION

A recyclable, thermally insulated shipping container is entirely constructed from organic fiber materials in such a manner that the container is curbside recyclable without separation of component materials. The container includes a corrugated cardboard outer box having a bottom wall, a plurality of sidewalls and a top wall, a corrugated cardboard inner liner assembly comprising a corrugated cardboard inner box having a bottom wall and a plurality of sidewalls, and a corrugated cardboard lid assembly. The outer box, inner liner assembly and lid assembly cooperate to create a plurality of thermally insulated cavities which are sequentially filled and uniformly packed with pre-portioned, predetermined volumes of loose-fill cellulose (organic fiber) insulation to create a consistent insulating value throughout the container.

Systems and methods for storing, transporting, and handling of solid-state electrolytes

A container assembly includes a container defining a sealed chamber, a solid state electrolyte disposed in the chamber, and a hydrophobic substance protecting the solid state electrolyte. A method for preparing a solid state electrolyte includes positioning a solid state electrolyte in a chamber of a container, protecting the solid state electrolyte using a hydrophobic substance, and sealing the chamber. A method for extracting a solid state electrolyte includes positioning the container assembly of in a dry atmosphere, unsealing the chamber, and removing the solid state electrolyte from the chamber to the dry atmosphere.

FACILITATING INTER-SYSTEM DATA TRANSFER WITH SERIALIZED DATA OBJECTS

A computer server includes processor and memory hardware. The processor hardware executes instructions including parsing a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) request from a first user agent to identify a first data object matching a set of characteristics and generating a new data element based on the HTTP request. The instructions include, in response to the first data object being present: extracting a first set of serialized data elements and serializing them with the new data element to generate a second data object. The instructions include, in response to the first data object being absent and a user associated with the first user agent being identifiable: determining a second set of serialized data elements based on an identity of the user, and serializing them with the new data element to generate the second data object. The instructions include transmitting an HTTP response including the second data object.
