Method for transferring material with adhesive onto articles with a difference in degree of curing between the material and adhesive
Apparatuses and methods for applying a transfer material onto the surface of an article are disclosed, including apparatuses and methods of transfer printing on and/or decorating three-dimensional articles, as well as the articles printed and/or decorated thereby. In some cases, the apparatuses and methods involve providing a deposition device, such as a printing device; providing a transfer component; depositing a material onto a portion of the transfer component with the deposition device; modifying the portion of the transfer component with the transfer material thereon to conform the transfer component to at least a portion of the surface of the three-dimensional article; and transferring the transfer material onto the surface of the article.
Weighing and labeling conveyor having alternating printer use
In an embodiment, the present invention provides a weighing and labeling conveyor for labeling articles, the articles including a first application point at a same point on the article, the conveyor including: a weighing conveyor for determining the weight of the articles; a transport apparatus for transporting the articles; and a labeling system for labeling the articles, the labeling system including three labelers, each labeler including an applicator, each applicator being suitable for applying a label to the first application point on an article while the article is being transported on the transport apparatus. Of the three labelers, during normal operation two labelers are in an active operating state and one labeler is in a passive operating state. During normal operation, the two labelers that are in the active operating state alternately label the first application point of successive articles.

LABELLING SYSTEM AND METHOD
This invention relates to a labelling apparatus (1) and method for labelling different shapes, sizes and material types of packaging (3, 36) such as cardboard or plastics material boxes, plastics or other material bottles and sachets all containing medicaments being dispensed. The labelling apparatus (1) includes a conveyor means (4) having a receiving end for receiving an article (3, 36) to be labelled from a chute (2) and a discharge end for discharging the article (3, 36) once labelled to a receiving container (9), a label applicator (15) for attaching a label (29) to the article and a label securing means (25) for securely forcing the label (29) onto the article.
Container labeling systems and methods of use
The invention relates to labeling and/or printing devices, methods and systems for applying coding and/or labeling to containers that are stacked or otherwise organized in a group (e.g., containers stacked on a pallet). In embodiments of the invention, labeling and/or printing devices are mounted on carriages that are capable of moving in a vertical direction to apply labels as they move. Horizontal movement is imparted either by moving such carriages in a horizontal direction adjacent to the containers, or by moving the containers themselves (or the pallet holding them) in a horizontal direction adjacent to such carriages. Multiple carriages with labeling devices may be provided to provide simultaneous labeling to more than one side of a group of stacked containers. Embodiments of the invention are capable of providing labeling of containers that are uniformly or non-uniformly grouped or stacked.
VEHICLE PART HOLE PATCH APPLICATOR ARRANGEMENT
A patch applicator arrangement for securing a patch over a hole in a vehicle part. The arrangement provides a robotic arm having at least one movable joint that allows the robotic arm to move about several axes. At the end of the robotic arm is a spindle that has several spring loaded patch applicators connected. The arrangement also includes a patch dispensing apparatus that the arrangements uses along with the robotic arm to place patches over holes in a vehicle part. The arrangement also provides a verification method to make sure the holes have been properly covered.
CUSTOMIZABLE PACKAGING METHODS AND APPARATUS
Embodiments of the invention are directed to a scratch away labeling system for a package, for instance a gift bag. In an embodiment, the scratch away system integrates into a package by replacing an aperture cut into a package with a single use, scratch away surface, and then covering the surface with a peel-away film to preserve the surface prior to intended use.

High-speed print-and-apply label applicator
A high-speed print-and-apply label applicator includes a conveyor system, a control and monitoring system, a label web feeding assembly, a label printer and encoder system, and a tamp pad assembly driven by a linear motor having a shaft that is formed at least partially by a composite material. A flexible applicator may be secured to the leading edge of the tamp pad and extends at least partially over the generally horizontal surface.
Label with removable section
A multi-layer label and methods for assembling a multi-layer label. A carrier material with a first label and a second label removably adhered thereto is provided. The first label and second label are dispensed from the carrier, joined together, and applied to a surface, whereby after application the underside of the first label is in contact with the surface and the undersurface of the second label is in contact with the top side of the first label.
