Storage system and article retrieving method
An apparatus is disclosed that provides a storage system designed to allow pickers to easily and efficiently pull products from all portions of the storage system from a single side of the storage system. The storage system includes a first storage rack that has a first plurality of columns and a first platform extending from one of the first plurality of columns. An outer edge of the first platform forms an end of the first storage rack. Positioned adjacent to the first storage rack is a second storage rack with a second plurality of columns and a second platform that extends from one of the second plurality of columns, where an outer edge of the second platform forms an end of the second storage rack. An aisle is formed by a predetermined distance between the outer edges of the first and second platforms.
Electronic tag writing system and method for same
A technology is for writing different information depending on an object into an electronic tag. The above problem is solved by an electronic tag writing system including a writing device that writes write information into an electronic tag, and an information acquisition section that acquires write information related to an object associated with the electronic tag, in which the write information acquired by the information acquisition section is written into the electronic tag using the writing device.
Method and kit for labelling objects
A kit for labelling an object with a target label comprises an instrument having an end(s) for manipulating labels. Transfer label(s) adhered to the end of the instrument, the transfer label having a facestock having adhesive on at least one of its surfaces, an adhesion force A between a first surface of the facestock of the transfer label and the instrument being greater than an adhesion force B between a second surface of the transfer label and a target label. The instrument and transfer label are used to manually transfer the target label from a target label liner to an object by releasable adherence of the target label to the second surface of the transfer label. A method for labelling an object is also provided.

ROBOTIC LABELING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF LABELING PACKAGES
A robotic labeling system includes a package locating system and a package identification system identifying a package orientation. The robotic labeling system includes a label application system having first and second label printers and first and second label applicators. The label printers are both capable of printing a shipping label and a customer specific label. The first label applicator applies a first label (either the shipping label or the customer specific label) to a first side of the package while the second label applicator applies a second label (other of the shipping label or the customer specific label) to a second side of the package different than the first side. The printing and application of the labels is based on the orientation of the package.
Method and System for Automating Computer System Component Serialization
A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for automated component serialization. A group of components that are of the same component to be used in a computer system are identified. One of the components is separated and labeled with serialization information. The labeled serialized information is verified and entered into an enterprise resource planning system. The process continues until all the group of components are labeled and verified.
Label placement system
The present disclosure relates to a label-placement module having a first feeder assembly, including a horizontal delivery platter for receiving a label, and a first drive wheel, positioned adjacent to a distal end of the horizontal delivery platter and rotatable to move the label on the horizontal delivery platter in a first direction. The label-placement module may include a second feeder assembly coupled to an actuator that moves the second feeder assembly vertically to a delivery position associated with the container. The second feeder assembly having a vertical delivery platter for receiving the label from the horizontal delivery platter and a second drive wheel rotatable to move the label forward in the first direction towards the container such that at least a portion of the label may be clamped between the container and a lid of the container thereby attaching the label to the container.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRINTING AND APPLYING LABELS TO A RANDOM FLOW OF OBJECTS
A system for printing and applying labels to a flow of objects, including a labelling unit, an object transporting device, an object detection sensor, and a control unit, wherein the labelling unit comprises a label printing unit for printing labels to be applied to the objects, wherein the object transporting device is transporting individual objects in a random flow to the labelling unit in an object transporting direction, wherein the object detection sensor is arranged upstream the labelling unit and is detecting a position of the objects when they are transported past the object detection sensor towards the labelling unit, wherein two directly after each other transported objects arranged on the object transporting device are separated by a separation distance, wherein the separation distance is calculated by the control unit based on position detection by the object detection sensor of reference points between a preceding object and a directly subsequent object being transported on the object transporting device, wherein the label printing unit if the separation distance is equal to or less than a predetermined first trigger distance value is printing labels to be applied to the objects in a continuous printing mode, wherein the label printing unit if the separation distance is greater than the predetermined first trigger distance value, is printing labels to be applied to the objects in an intermittent printing mode.
Labelling system and method
A pharmaceutical dispenser includes a conveyor including a receiving end for receiving an article to be labelled, a discharge end for discharging the article after the article has been labelled into a dispensing container, a label applicator for attaching at least part of a label to the article whilst the article travels on the conveyor, and a resiliently deformable object for forcing at least part of the at least partially attached label onto the article. The dispensing container receives the article, as the article falls under a force of gravity from the conveyor at its discharge end into the dispensing container. The conveyor includes a dispensing opening in a front side of the pharmaceutical dispenser through which the article is accessible and removable from the dispensing container.
Mobile packaging system and method
A mobile packaging system and method to increase the efficiency of the picking and packaging process of items to be shipped from a warehouse or similar facility. A mobile packaging cart that is moved to a location adjacent to the storage location of the item to be packaged. The item to be packaged is retrieved from the storage location and identified, packaged, and the package is labeled at the location by the subsystems of the mobile packaging cart. The completed packages are stored on the mobile packaging cart until being unloaded for shipping from, or further processing within, the facility.
