Outdoor cooking station with griddle, system and method thereof

Embodiments of a griddle of the type for an outdoor cooking station is provided herein. The griddle includes a flat cooking surface with a splash guard extending along a periphery of the flat cooking surface. The flat cooking surface defines a trough positioned adjacent a rear end of the cooking surface such that the trough includes a sloping surface extending downward toward a rear opening defined in the splash guard along and adjacent the rear end of the flat cooking surface. With this arrangement, as a user cooks food on the griddle, unwanted grease may be pushed to the rear of the griddle and into the trough so that the grease funnels down the sloped surface and through the rear opening and into a grease container centered below the rear opening.

A machine for applying a tubular band to a container moving in a feed direction includes a mandrel assembly about which tubular film is passed. The mandrel assembly is configured to eject tubular bands in an angular direction or orientation that is partly against the feed direction.

Machine For Applying Labels Or Other Markings To Containers

A machine (328) is selectively operative to apply markings such as labels, sleeves, decorations and indicia to containers (340). The machine includes a suspended container conveyor (SC) (320). SC shuttles (336) are selectively independently movable around an SC track (330). The SC shuttles include a respective container engagement fixture (338) and are selectively movable to engage an upper portion of a container. In the container engaged position each container is selectively vertically, rotatably and linearly movable so as to be positioned in operative connection with applicators (434, 436). The applicators are selectively operative to apply markings to respective containers that are in operative connection therewith in a precise and repeatable manner.

Packaging container with reclosable lid and label

The present subject matter relates to a label lid for sealing an opening in a packaging container. The label comprises a facestock layer, a removable adhesive layer, a heat-seal layer, and an optional release coating, wherein the removable adhesive layer does not include a release liner. The removable adhesive layer can be coated on the heat-seal layer or the facestock layer. Optionally, a release coating can be applied to the heat-seal layer or the facestock layer. The composition of the layers used in specific arrangements provides unique performance characteristics for the label for improved sealing, reclosure, and matrix stripping properties.

In one aspect, an article includes a first sleeve formed from a first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet, the first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet having opposed first and second edges, wherein the first sleeve is formed with a first seam proximate the first edge. A portion of the first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet extends between the first sleeve and the second edge. A tag is bonded to the portion of the first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet proximate the second edge at a first overlap zone of the tag and the portion of the first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet. In another aspect, an article includes a heat-shrinkable polymer sheet and a tag bonded to the sheet. The heat-shrinkable polymer sheet has a central area and a plurality of slits disposed through the sheet, at least one of the plurality of slits oriented to partially surround the central area.

Method and apparatus for applying a material onto articles with a pre-distorted transfer component

Apparatuses and methods for applying a transfer material onto the surface of an article are disclosed, including apparatuses and methods of transfer printing on and/or decorating three-dimensional articles, as well as the articles printed and/or decorated thereby. In some cases, the apparatuses and methods involve providing a deposition device, such as a printing device; providing a transfer component; depositing a material onto a portion of the transfer component with the deposition device; modifying the portion of the transfer component with the transfer material thereon to conform the transfer component to at least a portion of the surface of the three-dimensional article; and transferring the transfer material onto the surface of the article.

METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A SERIES OF CONTAINERS COMPRISING A STEP FOR MARKING CONTAINERS

The invention relates to a method for controlling a production facility of a series of containers from a series of preforms made of plastic materials. The method includes a first step of producing a preliminary series of individual containers from a preliminary series of preforms made of plastic materials. For each individual container produced during a tracking period, the method records (i) a marking that distinguishes said container other containers produced during said tracking period, and (ii) data relative to the production facility, its operation, and/or the preform or container. The method also includes a second step during which one or more physical values of each of the individually identified containers are measured during the first step, and a third step of compiling a database that matches, for each individually identified container, the measurement(s) of the second step, and the series of data acquired during the first step.
