Container With Threaded Connector
A hermetically sealed thermoplastic container or ampoule having a hollow body portion, a neck portion, unitary with the body portion and terminating in a circumferential flat sealing surface that defines an access aperture, and a removable cap. The neck portion is provided with an external thread and defines an access passageway to the hollow body portion. Part of the neck portion is configured as a tapered female connector adapted to receive a tapered male connector when the access passageway is open.
CONTAINER/APPLICATOR FOR A COSMETIC PRODUCT
Disclosed is a container/applicator for content such as a cosmetic product. A container/applicator for content, having a cylindrical shape with an axis, that includes a reservoir having a wall, a closed end closed by a bottom and an open end with a free edge, a cap having a skirt and a top wall, and an applicator rod, a casing having a distal end and a proximal end, a squeegee, an interface, wherein the squeegee is a part separate from the casing and is housed in the casing, includes a protruding flange and a distal portion, is held by fixed rigid squeegee/reservoir-casing combination. The casing includes an open distal end, and a transverse step forming an inner shoulder.
CONTAINER WITH TAPERED CONNECTOR
A hermetically sealed thermoplastic container or ampoule having a hollow body portion, a neck portion, unitary with the body portion and terminating in a circumferential, inwardly extending sealing flange, and a removable cap. The neck portion defines an access passageway to the hollow body portion a portion of which is configured as a tapered female connector adapted to receive a tapered male connector when the access passageway is open. The outer surface of the neck portion can be provided with lugs for engaging a tapered male connector with a threaded collar.

Liquid applicator comprising single-piece body
A liquid applicator comprising an absorbent member, and a single-piece, unitary body. The body can include a closed container defining a reservoir, and a tab. The container can include a main portion, a transition portion, a rib, and a chamber located in the tab and coupled to the transition portion via a frangible connection. The main portion, the transition portion, the rib, and the chamber can each define a portion of the reservoir, and at least the main portion, the transition portion, and the rib can have a uniform wall thickness. The tab can include the chamber and can be coupled to the transition portion at least by the frangible connection, the tab being movable with respect to the transition portion between a first position in which the frangible connection is intact and a second position in which the frangible connection is fractured.
Affixed groups of pharmaceutical vials including frangible connectors
In some embodiments, an affixed group of pharmaceutical vials with frangible connectors includes: a plurality of pharmaceutical vials arranged as a group of pharmaceutical vials, each of the plurality of pharmaceutical vials shaped and positioned to minimize a total volume of the group of pharmaceutical vials, each of the pharmaceutical vials including at least one external side with a surface configured to reversibly mate with a corresponding external side and a surface of an adjacent pharmaceutical vial; and a plurality of frangible connectors, wherein at least one frangible connector is affixed to the surface of at least two of the plurality of pharmaceutical vials within the group of pharmaceutical vials, and at least one frangible connector is affixed to each of the plurality of pharmaceutical vials.
BLOW-FILL SEALING METHOD FOR FILLING AND PACKAGING
A method of controlling a temperature of a biopharmaceutical product during blow-fill sealing, includes developing a model based on heat transfer mechanisms that incorporates the effects of the blow-fill sealing on the biopharmaceutical product, providing a parison to a blow-fill sealing machine for accepting the biopharmaceutical product during the blow-fill sealing, predicting a temperature of at least one the biopharmaceutical product, the parison, and a component of the blow-fill sealing machine at a stage in the blow-fill sealing, and adjusting a parameter of the blow-fill sealing machine to reduce damage to the biopharmaceutical product.
