PRESSED PAPERBOARD BOWL WITH WIDE UPPER RIM
20230011217 · 2023-01-12 · ·

A disposable bowl press-formed from a generally planar paperboard blank. The bowl has a large capacity, wide flange for easy handling and exhibits excellent rim stiffness. The bowl can include a bottom panel, a sidewall extending upwardly and outwardly from the bottom panel and a flange extending outwardly from the sidewall. The flange includes a rim portion having an arched central crown with a convex upper surface defining a radius of curvature RC of 0.650 to 1.180; and annular transition from the rim portion defining a radius of curvature, R3, and an evert extending downwardly from the annular transition, R3, wherein the bowl has an outermost diameter D of about 8″ to about 10″ and a height to diameter ratio, H/D, of from 0.18 to 0.20.

Modular system for inventory and transport efficiency of packaging

Disclosed herein are modular container systems having child-resistant containers, tray inserts and tray frames. Also disclosed are methods using the modular container systems and methods of storing substances in containers. The containers have a container base and a container cap and provide for child-resistant containers. A user can releasably remove the container cap from container base with a squeeze and lift sequence. For example, the user squeezes opposite sides of the container base, which releases a locking mechanism and allows for removal of the cap by lifting or pulling the container cap off from the container base. The components of the modular container system are modular and stackable. The modular system allow for organized, efficient, accessible and storage of the child-resistant containers. The modular container system also allows for easy counting, sorting and processing of the containers.

Oil pan assembly including laminate and clinch nut

The teachings herein are related to assemblies, such as oil pan assemblies, including a laminate bottom portion and a nut attached to the laminate bottom portion. The nut may provide a sealable opening to a cavity of the assembly. The laminate bottom portion preferably includes a polymeric layer sandwiched between two metallic layers. The nut preferably is a clinch nut.

Meat tray

A meat tray sized and shaped to support raw meat is provided. The meat tray is composed of a paperboard material. The meat tray may include a generally planar base extending to a sidewall that extends transversely from the planar base to an angled outer transition which forms an outer periphery of a tray cavity. A rim of the meat tray is located at a terminus of the angled outer transition and extends away from the cavity. The rim may include an outer arcuate rim portion that extends and curves away from the outer transition and a planar flange extending from the outer arcuate rim portion and terminates at an edge. The edge faces downwardly with respect to the outer arcuate rim portion.

A holding structure for holding a plurality of containers for pharmaceutical, medical or cosmetic purposes includes a carrier having openings or receptacles for accommodating the containers. Holding devices for holding the containers are provided at the openings or receptacles. The holding devices can selectively assume two different stable positions, namely a first stable position in which the containers can be inserted without friction into the openings or receptacles and a second stable position in which the containers are held in the respective opening or receptacle by frictional engagement or by positive locking. The containers can be reliably inserted into the openings or receptacles without material abrasion. In the open insertion position of the holding devices, a large number of containers can be inserted concurrently into the openings or receptacles without high forces acting on the holding structure.
