Composite container with separator for forming multiple compartments
A composite container is provided for holding one or more products (e.g., snack foods, toys, etc.) in separate compartments within the same container. The container includes a tubular body defining a first end and a second end, and the tubular body extends radially inward at a predefined location between the first and second ends to form a ledge. A separator, such as a paperboard or plastic disk, can be placed on the ledge, such that the separator defines a first compartment on one side of the separator and a second compartment on the other side of the separator. In this way, a product can be stored in the first compartment, and a product can be stored in the second compartment, and the user can have access to both in the same container. Associated methods of manufacturing a composite container with multiple compartments are also provided.

Separable Container for Frozen Dessert Product
A separable container and related method for delivering predetermined portions of product contained within a container is provided. The container has a sidewall having a plurality of frangible sections disposed at predetermined distances along the height of the sidewall. A plurality of flexible dividers are interspersed with the product in the container, each of the flexible dividers being substantially aligned with a respective frangible section of the sidewall. Sidewall segments are separable from the container to expose a predetermined portion of the product contained therein, and the flexible dividers define a boundary between adjacent predetermined portions of product to facilitate separation of the exposed predetermined product portions from a remainder of product seated within the container sidewall.

DIVIDER AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING CONTENTS OF A FROZEN LIQUID CONTAINER
There are several types of existing ice cream containers and the present invention represents improvement to the existing configuration of carton containers to enable the manufacture and packaging of two or more flavors of ice cream type products in one container. Ice cream is generally sold in 1 pint (16 ounce), cylindrical cartons some of which have a somewhat flat bottom, and a gently tapering conical side wall. Larger capacity containers such as 48 oz. round cardboard, 48 oz. round plastic 48 oz. tubs, 1.75 quart and gal/two quarts containers are also commonly used. This invention provides a cardboard or plastic divider panel that is incorporated into any existing cartons that enables any size container to be divided into two or three flavor compartments depending on its size.
