Detecting and displaying stent expansion

A method for processing an intravascular image including a plurality of image frames acquired during a pullback of an imaging catheter inserted into a vessel. The method includes obtaining positions of lumen borders detected in the intravascular image and positions of stent-struts detected in the intravascular image. Determining, at different positions in a range, a stent expansion value of the stent implanted in the vessel, based on the first information and the second information, wherein each image frame from image frames in which stent-struts are detected corresponds to a different position along the range. The method may also include displaying an image including positions of lumen borders and positions of the stent-struts detected and a first indicator indicating a level along the range, of the stent expansion value, with the image.

Method for detecting tumor tissue boundaries or tumor stromal cell distribution range

A method for detecting tumor tissue boundaries or a tumor stromal cell distribution range, more specifically, a diagnostic or non-diagnostic method for determining the boundaries of a tumor tissue; the boundaries of the tumor tissue are determined by means of determining the boundaries of the tumor stromal cells in the tumor tissue. The present method can more accurately determine the boundaries of tumor tissue, which serves to more accurately instruct the treatment of tumors, especially with respect to surgical treatment.

METHOD FOR MONITORING AN ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT

A method for monitoring the positioning of the teeth including production of a three-dimensional digital initial reference model of the arches of the patient and, for each tooth, definition, from the initial reference model, of a three-dimensional digital reference tooth model; acquisition of updated image of at least one two-dimensional image of the arches in actual acquisition conditions; analysis of each updated image and production, for each updated image, of an updated map; optionally, determination, for each updated image, of rough virtual acquisition conditions approximating the actual acquisition conditions; searching, for each updated image, for a final reference model corresponding to the positioning of the teeth during the acquisition of the updated image, for each tooth model, comparison of the positionings of the tooth model in the initial reference model and in the reference model obtained at the end of the preceding steps to determine the movement of the teeth

Method and a system for detection of eye gaze-pattern abnormalities and related neurological diseases

The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for detecting a neurological disease and an eye gaze-pattern abnormality related to the neurological disease of a user. The method comprises displaying stimulus videos on a screen of an electronic device and simultaneously filming with a camera of the electronic device to generate a video of the user's face for each one of the stimulus videos, each one of the stimulus videos corresponding to a task. The method further comprises providing a machine learning model for gaze predictions, generating the gaze predictions for each video frame of the recorded video, and determining features for each task to detect the neurological disease using a pre-trained machine learning model.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PULSE TRANSMIT TIME MEASUREMENT FROM OPTICAL DATA
20230056557 · 2023-02-23 ·

A new system and method is provided for improving the accuracy of pulse rate detection, including for determining PTT (pulse transit time). Various aspects contribute to the greater accuracy, including but not limited to pre-processing of the camera output/input, extracting the pulsatile signal from the preprocessed camera signals, followed by post-filtering of the pulsatile signal. This improved information may then be used for such analysis as accurate BP determination, which is not possible with inaccurate methods for optical pulse rate detection.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING DEPTH AND HEALTH OF PERIODONTAL SULCUS

A non-invasive method for determining a gingival pocket depth includes seating a photoacoustic probe tray in a subject's mouth; transmitting photonic energy transgingivally; receiving generated ultrasonic signals; determining and processing the time of flight between transmitting and receiving and a relative amplitude of the ultrasonic signals to the transmitted photonic energy to determine densities and a topography of the subject's dental anatomy; determining a repeatable reference point; and measuring the gingival pocket depth in relation to the repeatable reference point. A system includes a transducer tray a biogel-containing bite wafer seated within the transducer tray; a processor; a memory; a user interface; and a visual display. The transducer tray has at least one embedded pulsed laser source and at least one embedded ultrasonic sensor.

A disclosed example includes: a capture unit that captures a fingerprint; an image processing unit that processes a transferred fingerprint image captured by the capture unit; a display unit on which the fingerprint image transferred to the image processing unit is displayed; a recording unit where the fingerprint image transferred to the image processing unit is recorded by the image processing unit; and an instruction unit that inputs, in the image processing unit, a record instruction that instructs the image processing unit to record the fingerprint image in the recording unit. The image processing unit records, in the recording unit, the fingerprint image displayed on the display unit at the time the record instruction is input by the instruction unit.

INTRAORAL SCANNING AND DENTAL CONDITION IDENTIFICATION

An intraoral scanner generates 2D images of a dental site and 3D intraoral scans of the dental site. The computing device receives the 2D images of the dental site and the 3D intraoral scans of the dental site from the intraoral scanner, generates a 3D model of the dental site based on the 3D intraoral scans of the dental site, and processes at least one of a) one or more of the 2D images of the dental site, b) one or more of the 3D intraoral scans of the dental site, or c) data from the 3D model of the dental site to identify one or more intraoral areas of interest (AOIs) at the dental site. The computing device determines a dental condition associated with the one or more intraoral AOIs, and determines a manner for scanning the one or more intraoral AOIs.
