Evaluation value calculation device and electronic endoscope system
An electronic endoscope system includes a plotting unit which plots pixel correspondence points, which correspond to pixels that constitute an intracavitary color image that has a plurality of color components, on a target plane according to color components of the pixel correspondence points, the target plane intersecting the origin of a predetermined color space; an axis setting unit which sets a reference axis in the target plane based on pixel correspondence points plotted on the target plane; and an evaluation value calculating unit which calculates a prescribed evaluation value with respect to the captured image based on a positional relationship between the reference axis and the pixel correspondence points.
Magnetic resonance fingerprinting method for recordings with a contrast agent
Systems, methods, and computer program products for determining different states of a contrast agent in different types of tissue can involve generating a magnetic resonance waveform for the contrast agent in an examination region that includes multiple tissue types. The contrast agent may have different relaxation-shortening effects in each different tissue type. The generated waveform may be compared to database waveforms to determine the concentration of the contrast agent in each tissue type in the examination region.
Method and system for improved measurement of localized oral inflammation using modulated light
A method for localizing gingival inflammation using an oral care device, comprising: (i) simultaneously emitting (520) light by a plurality of light sources (48) of the oral care device, wherein at least some of the plurality of light sources emit light of different wavelengths to result in a plurality of emitted light wavelengths, wherein each of the different wavelengths is modulated with a distinct code; (ii) obtaining (530), by a light detector (40) of the oral care device, reflectance measurements from a location within the user's mouth to generate reflectance data for the location; (iii) demodulating (540), by a controller (30) of the oral care device, the obtained reflectance data; and (iv) determining (560), by the controller using the demodulated reflectance data, whether gingiva at the location is inflamed.
Non-Invasive Method Of Evaluating Blood Cell Measurement And Non-Invasive Blood Cell Measurement Evaluating System
A non-invasive method of evaluating blood cell measurement and a non-invasive blood cell measurement evaluating system are provided. The non-invasive method of evaluating blood cell measurement includes providing of a dialysis tubing image datum of a subject, performing an image preprocessing step, performing a model predicting step and performing a determining and classifying step. The non-invasive blood cell measurement evaluating system includes an image capturing device and a processor electrically connected to the image capture device.
Enhancing pigmentation in dermoscopy images
Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for modifying images of skin so as to reduce or enhance the appearance of component pigments, such as melanin and hemoglobin. A diffuse reflectance image of skin, such as a cross-polarized contact dermoscopy image, which conveys information regarding subsurface features of the skin, is processed so as to extract pigment distribution information, which is then used to correct the diffuse reflectance image, such as by reducing the appearance of melanin to allow better visualization of hemoglobin-related structures, such as vasculature. Alternatively, the diffuse reflectance image can be corrected so as to reduce the appearance of hemoglobin to allow better visualization of melanin-related structures.
IMAGING DURING A MEDICAL PROCEDURE
A system may be configured to facilitate a medical procedure. Some embodiments may: acquire a scan corresponding to a region of interest (ROI); capture an image of a patient in real-time; identify, via a trained machine learning (ML) model using the acquired scan and the captured image, a Kambin's triangle; and overlay, on the captured image, a representation of the identified Kambin's triangle.
ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM AND ENDOSCOPE IMAGE DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD
An endoscopic system includes a processor. The processor generates from a measured value of pressure in a lumen of a subject a first temporal change image of the pressure in the lumen, generates an observation image for observing an opened/closed state of a valve portion in the lumen of the subject in real time from an image pickup signal obtained by picking up an image of the opened/closed state of the valve portion in the lumen in real time using an endoscope, and generates a superposition image by superposing the first temporal change image and the observation image in a temporally synchronized manner.
Method And System For Non-Invasive Detection Of A Living Subject's Blood Oxygen Saturation
A method and system for non-invasive detection of a living subject's blood oxygen saturation is disclosed herein. A system, method, and apparatus utilizes an imaging RGB/infrared sensor and an active two-color light source for detecting blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) of a living subject in a non-contact manner. The system comprises a non-contact light source comprising red light or infrared light; an imaging sensor; a processor; and a user interface.
System and method for obtaining thermal image data of a body part and thermal imager
A computer-implemented method for obtaining thermal image data of a body part and a thermal imager are disclosed. The method comprises receiving image data of a body part, the image data including thermal image data, the thermal image data including thermal image data of the body part and background thermal image data, applying a classifier to the image data to detect a profile of the body part, the classifier being configured to use image data other than the thermal image data to perform the detection, generating a mask from said profile, and applying the mask to the thermal image data to remove the background thermal image data and obtain thermal image data of the body part.
HIGH-THROUGHPUT TEMPERATURE SCREENING FOR PERSONS WITH TEMPERATURE ANOMALIES
A system for screening persons' temperatures comprises an imaging device configured to generate imagery data, including infrared image data, of a first scene and a second scene. The system receives imagery data from the first scene, identifies persons in the scene using the imagery data, and determines each person's temperature. The system further compares the persons' temperatures to a threshold and indicates a person should be directed to the second scene if the person's temperature is above a threshold. Subsequently, the system determines and compares the person's temperature in the second scene and provides an indication if the person's temperature exceeds a second threshold. Further, a confidence factor can be associated with determinations of persons' temperatures.
