CONTAINER FOR PRESERVED FOOD WITH A FLEXIBLE BOTTOM, AND CORRESPONDING PRODUCTION METHOD
The invention relates to a container for preserved food comprising a metal body having at least one end closed hermetically by a bottom formed by a flexible film.
Can Shell and Double-Seamed Can End Closure
A drawn aluminum can shell has a peripheral crown which is double-seamed with an end portion of an aluminum can body to provide a can end having a generally flat center panel connected by an inclined curved or straight panel wall to an inner wall of an annular U-shaped countersink. The countersink has an outer wall which connects with a lower wall portion of a chuck wall, and the chuck wall has an upper wall portion which connects with an inner wall of the crown. The chuck wall also has an intermediate wall portion forming a break, and the inner bottom width of the countersink is less than the radial width of the panel wall.
Methods for increasing cycle life of metal liners and products manufactured therefrom
A method of incremental autofrettage is taught herein, whereby the cycle life of a metal liner in a pressure vessel is increased. This method serves to increase the yield strength of the metal liner through sequential work hardening due to repeated autofrettage at increasing pressures. By incrementally increasing the internal pressure used in the autofrettage process, the compressive stresses at an inner surface of the metal liner may be controlled so that post-pressurization buckling does not occur, yet the yield strength of the metal liner is substantially increased. The higher compressive stresses in the metal liner mean that higher Maximum Expected Operating Pressures (MEOPs) may be used without detracting from the cycle life of the metal liner, or alternatively, for lower pressures, a longer metal liner cycle life may be obtained. Either internal or external pressures may be used, generated by a pressure source, or a suitable die.
APPARATUS OF HOUSING COMPONENT
Disclosed is an apparatus of housing component which includes a case which accommodates a component, a cover which covers the case, and a sealant applied on a joining surface at which the case and the cover join together, wherein a step is formed at the joining surface.
SHEET METAL STRUCTURE
A sheet metal planter comprises three panel types, can be assembled with readily available tools, can be disassembled to fit in a compact space, can be made in more than one shape, does not require fasteners in one embodiment or places a modest load on fasteners in another embodiment, and is aesthetically pleasing.
Storage basket
A storage basket is provided, including a bottom meshwork and a side meshwork. The side meshwork formed with at least one mesh element extends transversely and upwardly from and surrounds the bottom meshwork. Each mesh element is an expanded metal mesh and includes a top frame portion disposed at a top end and a meshed portion located between the bottom meshwork and the top frame portion, and the expanded metal mesh is formed by using die stamping to expandedly mesh a solid metal plate. The top frame portion and the meshed portion of each mesh element are formed integrally.
Packing box
A packing box can include a first cover, a second cover, a first sidewall, a second sidewall, a third sidewall, a fourth sidewall, and a bulkhead. The first cover and the second cover can be opposite to each other. The four sidewalls can be sequentially coupled end-to-end. The bulkhead can be received in the main box and be substantially parallel to the first cover and the second cover. Four edges of the bulkhead can be coupled to the four sidewalls, respectively. An inner receiving space of the main box can be divided into a first receiving cavity and a second receiving cavity by the bulkhead. A number of receiving portions can be defined on a surface of the packing box facing the first receiving cavity.
Modular combined box and connecting assembly thereof
A connecting assembly of modular box, comprising a top cover, a sleeve, a mandrel, and a jacket, the sleeve is configured to trap outside the mandrel; the sleeve is provided with at least one snap-fit portion, the jacket is provided with at least one snap-engagement portion, the at least one snap-engagement portion is connected with the at least one snap-fit portion, so that the jacket is fixed in a circumferential direction of the sleeve; the top cover is connected to an upper end of the mandrel to press firmly the sleeve and the jacket, so that the axial positions of the sleeve and the jacket are fixed.
