Reaction container and method for producing same
10301064 · 2019-05-28 · ·

The invention relates to a reaction container and a method for producing the reaction container, and provides a low-cost reaction container which is capable of consistently, quickly, and efficiently performing a process that includes a reaction such as extraction or amplification of a nucleic acid, while saving user's trouble without increasing the scale of the device. The reaction container is configured to comprise: one or two or more housing parts for reactions comprising: a narrow-mouthed piping part in which a reaction reagent or a portion thereof is housed or is housable; a wide-mouthed piping part that is communicated with the narrow-mouthed piping part and provided on an upper side of the narrow-mouthed piping part, and has an aperture that is wider than an aperture of the narrow-mouthed piping part; and a punchable film provided such that it partitions an interval between the wide-mouthed piping part and the narrow-mouthed piping part.

Can shell and double-seamed can end

A drawn aluminum can shell has a peripheral crown which is double-seamed with an end portion of an aluminum can body to provide a can end having a generally flat center panel connected by an inclined curved or straight panel wall to an inclined inner wall of an annular U-shaped countersink. The countersink has an outer wall which connects with an inclined lower wall portion of a chuck wall at a junction below the center panel, and the chuck wall has a curved or inclined upper wall portion which connects with an inner wall of the crown. The chuck wall also has an intermediate wall portion forming a break, and the inner bottom width of the countersink is less than the radial width of the panel wall. The inclined upper wall portion of the chuck wall extends at an angle greater than the angle of the inclined lower wall portion of the chuck wall.

A grain storage bin includes a cylindrical wall formed by a plurality of panels arranged in rows with a bottom edge of a first row bolted to a top edge of a second lower row. At each joint the bottom edge of the first upper row is overlapped with and outside of the outer surface of top edge of the second lower row and the bottom edge is fastened to the top edge by bolts carrying spacers as to define a first channel along the joint for passage of air. A cover strip overlies the channel and extends from an upper edge of the strip at the inner surface of the first panel above the channel to a lower edge of the strip which is fastened to the top edge so as to define a second channel so that air can pass between the interior and the exterior through the first and second channels while the particulate material is prevented from escaping through the first channel by the cover strip.

A composite includes a multilayer polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film having a base layer and an adjacent skin layer. The PET of the skin layer has inherent viscosity of about 0.70-0.90 and carboxyl endgroup concentration of less than 25 eq/T. The base layer can be affixed to a thin metal sheet. Optionally, the base layer of a second multilayer PET film with a skin layer inherent viscosity of about 0.70-0.90 and carboxyl endgroup concentration of less than 25 eq/T can be affixed to the opposite side of the metal sheet. The composite is suited for making food and chemical containers such as food storage cans that resist blush discoloration from steam contact during container formation and age degradation during extended storage of harsh chemical products.
