Multi-entity management of a node in a wireless node network

Methods and apparatus are disclosed for multi-entity management of an ID node in a wireless node network. The ID node associates with a first entity user access device, which operates as a master node and communicates directly with a server over a first communication path. The first device separately communicates with the ID node over a second communication path, but the ID node is unable to directly communicate with the server. The ID node provides the first device with access to data collected by the ID node if an initial privilege authorizes it. After associating with a shipping entity master node, the ID node provides the shipping entity master node with the data collected based on a transferred privilege from the server. And then after associating with a second entity user access device, the ID node provides access to this second device if authorized by a destination privilege from the server.

A bucket lid assembly for mixing contents of a closed bucket includes a lid that has flat portion and a channel portion is integrated into the flat portion. The channel portion releasably engages a bucket for closing the bucket. The flat portion is comprised of a translucent material to facilitate contents of the bucket to be visible through the lid. The lid has a mixer opening extending therethrough such that a mixing wand is insertable through the mixer opening. In this way the lid facilitates the contents of the bucket to be mixed while the bucket is closed with the lid.

Systems, apparatus, and methods for detecting an environmental anomaly and initiating an enhanced automatic response using elements of a wireless node network and using sensor data from ID nodes associated with packages and environmental threshold conditions per package

An improved system detects an environmental anomaly in a shipping container and initiates a mediation response through a generated layered alert notification. The system includes sensor-based ID nodes associated with packages within the container, and a command node mounted to the container communicating with the ID nodes and an external transceiver on a vehicle transporting the container. The command node is programmed to detect sensor data from the ID nodes; compare the sensor data to package environmental thresholds in context data related to each ID node; detect the environmental anomaly when the comparison indicates an environmental condition for at least one package exceeds its environmental threshold; responsively generate a layered alert notification identifying a mediation recipient and mediation action, and establishing a mediation response priority based upon the comparison; and transmit the layered alert notification to the transceiver unit to initiate a mediation response related to the mediation action.

The present invention includes a kit that includes a container with a removable lid that is operable to create a seal around the container, and an internal release mechanism that is operable to sever the bond between the food and the surrounding container so that food items can be easily removed from the container. The release mechanism comprises a bottom member and two opposing side members extending therefrom that are configured to conform to the contours of the container and is operable to dislodge food from the interior surface of the container in a sweeping fashion by rotating the release mechanism within the container. The release mechanism may be fastened to the bottom of the container and optionally may include a lip to aid in scraping food from the container.

A storage container for storing product items in an automated storage and retrieval system includes a base; two first parallel side walls; two second parallel side walls perpendicular to the two first parallel side walls; a top opening; and two side openings, to allow one or more items to be unloaded from the storage container or loaded into the storage container through one of the side openings at an unloading station or at a loading station. The storage container is provided with a restraint which is arranged to restrain movement of the one or more items from exiting through one of the side openings during transportation of the storage container to the unloading or loading station. The restraint includes an elevatable floor movably connected to the storage container between: a lower position, arranged to restrain movement of the one or more items from exiting through one of the side openings during transportation of the storage container to the unloading or loading station; and an upper position, arranged not to restrain movement of one or more items from exiting through one of the side openings at the unloading or loading station. The elevatable floor includes apertures and the storage container includes friction increasing members positioned in the apertures. In the lower position, the elevatable floor is vertically aligned with, or lower than the friction increasing members. In the upper position, the elevatable floor is higher than the friction increasing members.
