METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HEADERLESS PRODUCE BAGS WITH INCREASED ADHESION
During the manufacturing process the exterior surface of one or both of the sheets of plastic film which form the bags is treated with low temperature corona discharge plasma to raise the level of surface charge magnitude to at least 43 Dyne to increase the adhesion force between the bags. A recess is formed in each of the bags to further increase the adhesion. The increased adhesion causes the mouth of one bag to automatically open as the adjacent bag is removed from the rack. The recess is formed at the same time openings are created in the bags to accept the support rods of a dispensing rack. The bags can have simple edge sides or side gussets and may be provided in a package including a pouch which receives and supports the lower portions of the bags.
Storage bag with features that facilitate sealing and unsealing of the bag
A storage bag is provide with features that facilitate unsealing an opening of the bag, including shaped lips and visual cues for areas that the lips that should be grasped during the unsealing process. The visual cue may include relative coloring of portions of the lips of the bag. The storage bag also includes features that facilitate sealing the opening of the bag, including textured areas and dimples. Such features may provide visual cues, tactile feedback and/or audio feedback in order to facilitate the sealing process.
Pouch container
A pouch container is provided with sack-like portions provided respectively to upper parts of the front-surface sheet and the rear-surface sheet.
STAND-UP PLASTIC STORAGE BAG
A storage bag includes first and second sidewalls each having a top edge, a top portion, and a bottom portion. The bottom portions of the sidewalls include at least one shift region about which the bag is capable of shifting. The shift region includes a score line, an indentation, or a crimp formed into the first sidewall. The top portions of the sidewalls include a cuff line about which the bag is capable of shifting. The bag shifts (a) between (i) a flat configuration with the sidewalls positioned adjacent to each other, and (ii) a stand-up configuration with the sidewalls separated from each other. In the stand-up configuration, the bag has a substantially flat base. The bag also can be shifted to a cuffed position with the bag being folded over the cuff line of each of the sidewalls such that the cuff region forms an opening to the bag.
COLLAPSIBLE BAG AND/OR TRAY SUPPORTING APPARATUS
A collapsible holding device supporting apparatus is releasably mountable to a separate surface and includes first and second proximal arms, first and second distal arms and a handle that are interconnected by pivot connections. A holding device is supported on the first and second proximal arms and the first and second distal arms with the holding device surrounded by the arms. The pivot connections enable the handle to be moved toward the separate surface causing the first and second proximal arms and the first and second distal arms to move to adjacent, side by side positions and closing the holding device, and enable the handle to be moved away from the separate surface causing the first and second proximal arms and first and second distal arms to be move to angled orientations and opening the holding device surrounded by the arms.
Magnetic Locking Device With Hold-Open Mechanism
Provided is a closure device for closing an opening having at least one first closure part and at least one second closure part interact, in a magnetically attracting manner, in such a way that the opening is closed in a closed position of the closure device, and for releasing the opening the first closure part and the second closure part are displaceable into an open position, counter to a magnetic force applied by the first and second closure parts,
The closure device includes at least one hold-open mechanism, via which the first and second closure parts are locked in the open position, and which counteracts a displacement of the first and second closure parts into the closed position, by means of a holding force.
Hopper and medicine supply apparatus including the same
A hopper having a passage through which a medicine can be passed downward is provided. A part of a lower portion of the hopper is a deformable portion having flexibility, and the deformable portion is deformable so as to open and close the passage. According to this configuration, the deformable portion that is a part of the hopper is deformed to open and close the passage. Thus, there is no portion such as an opening and closing plate on which the medicine remains, thereby preventing a gap in which the medicine remains from being formed in the hopper, and preventing the medicine from easily remaining in the hopper.
EASY OPEN PLASTIC BAG AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
An easy open bag, method of use, and manufacture thereof is provided. The bag is defined as a flimsy material comprising a smooth outer surface, the bag having a first side, a second side, an opening end, and a closed end. A tackifier substance being applied to the first side and the second side. The tackifier substance is positioned near the open end and allows a secure grip on the bag for opening the bag with a rubbing motion.
PLASTIC BAG WITH GRIP STRIP
A plastic bag comprising a grip strip configured to assist with opening the bag, wherein the grip strip is formed from a material different from a material from which its associated panel is formed.
PACKAGING
Wrapper-type packaging composed of a flexible plastics sheet material in the form of a sack or bag having a front wall and a rear wall, which are located opposite one another and are sealed by a side sealing seam to form a flexible sack-like or bag-like tube, of which the opening is covered by a closure flap which is formed by a projection of the rear wall and is folded onto the front wall at least as far as the opening and is closed by longitudinal sealing and, possibly, transverse sealing or adhesive bonding, the opening having an opening aid, wherein the flexible plastics sheet material is oriented at least uniaxially and optionally is embossed and has a tear-propagation resistance in the machine direction which differs by at least 30% from the tear propagation resistance in the direction transverse to the machine direction.
