DENTAL TREATMENT INSTRUMENT
Disclosed is a dental treatment instrument including a bridge unit configured to be gripped by a user; a plurality of tip units configured to be replaceable with respect to the bridge unit; and a coupling unit configured to selectively couple the tip unit with the bridge unit. The coupling unit is configured to couple the tip unit with the bridge unit by inserting and thereby rotating a portion of the tip unit relative to the bridge unit. Through this configuration, various types of dental tips may be easily replaced based on a selection of a user.
DEVICE FOR CLEANING BETWEEN TEETH
A device for cleaning interproximal surfaces and contact areas between someone's teeth comprising at least one prophylaxis strip and a support member integral with the strip, which provides structural support, without impeding the ability of at least one end of the strip to be inserted between the teeth from the side.

Dental handpiece and prophy angle
A combination includes a dental handpiece and a prophy angle. The dental handpiece includes a nosecone threadably connected to the dental handpiece. The prophy angle includes a proximal body that matingly attaches to the nosecone. A plurality of elongated torque members are formed on each of the prophy angle proximal body and the nosecone. Each of the torque members is a male torque member or a female torque member and each male torque member formed on one of the prophy angle proximal body and the nosecone matingly couples with a female torque member formed on the other of the nosecone and the prophy angle proximal body. The prophy angle, including the plurality of elongated torque members formed on the prophy angle, is formed to also be attachable to a known standard doriot-style nosecone. Other specific features of the handpiece and prophy angle are also disclosed.
COATED ABRASIVE TOOL, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND ABRASIVE DENTAL PRODUCT
The invention relates to a coated abrasive tool including a carrier which has a carrier material and including an abrasive surface coating on a surface region of the carrier. The abrasive surface coating has abrasive functional particles and a thermoplastic binder for an adhesive connection between at least some of the abrasive functional particles and the carrier material. At least some of the abrasive functional particles on the surface region of the carrier are partly integrated into the carrier material and are connected to the carrier material, and at least some of the abrasive functional particles on the surface region of the carrier are additionally partly integrated into the thermoplastic binder, the thermoplastic binder being connected to the abrasive functional particles and the carrier material.
DENTAL TOOL AND DENTAL SYSTEM
The invention relates to a dental tool having a shank region, which is formed for coupling to a dental handpiece, and also having a work region, which is connected to the shank region. In this case, the shank region of the dental tool is formed so that there is the possibility of latchable insertion and removal without actuation. In particular, at least the shank region can consist of plastics material. As a result, inter alia facilitated handling of the tool and inexpensive production of the tool are rendered possible.

Method Of Operating A Dental Polishing Apparatus And Dental Polishing Apparatus
A method of operating a dental polishing apparatus is provided, having a polishing unit driven by a dental machine tool. The polishing unit includes a circular polishing core and a circular polishing assembly particularly surrounding the polishing core. The polishing assembly also has a workpiece to be polished and the polishing assembly deforms elastically when in contact with the workpiece. A numerically controlled steering device moves the polishing assembly along a trajectory on and relative to the workpiece. The workpiece is immersed into the polishing assembly with a constant or substantially constant degree of immersion. The controller adjusts the degree of immersion based on process parameters.
Interproximal Reduction Tool And Method
An interproximal reduction tool and method preferably includes at least one polishing strip; at least one abrasive wheel; and a low speed and high torque dental electric motor. First, the area between two adjacent teeth is manually polished with a plurality of polishing strips. The polishing strip is held between a forefinger and thumb and moved in a horizontal plane. Each abrasive wheel preferably includes an abrasive disc and a shaft. The abrasive disc includes a disc base and abrasive material. The abrasive material is adhered to opposing sides of the disc base. It is preferable to have an annular space between an outer edge of the disc base and an outer perimeter of the annular abrasive material. The low speed/high torque motor preferably utilizes an existing dental motor and modifies the dental motor to have a preferable gear reduction of at least 16:1.
Device and Method for Making Space Between Teeth
A device and a method for making space between teeth that can efficiently form a necessary space between adjacent teeth in a short time and reduce the physical burden on both the patient and the person who gives treatment. The device for making space includes an ultrasonic oscillator, an ultrasonic vibrator which receives a driving signal from the ultrasonic oscillator and vibrates ultrasonically, a grinding tip to which the vibration from the ultrasonic vibrator is transmitted, and a power supply device which supplies power to the ultrasonic oscillator. The opposing surfaces of the adjacent teeth T are ground by ultrasonic vibration of the grinding tip inserted between the two adjacent teeth T.
