Supporting Member for Supporting a Sealing of a Container
The present invention relates to a support member for supporting a sealing of a container, to a support system for supporting a sealing of a container, to respective containers and to a method for sealing a container. The support member 100 comprises an injection moulded support structure 110, including a first connecting means 112a; 112b adapted for connecting the support member 100 to a corresponding container 200, a first sealing face 114, and an opening 116 for accessing the sealed container 200 when the support member 100 is connected to the container 200. The support member 100 further comprises a first elastic member 120, wherein the first elastic member 120 at least partially covers the first sealing face 114, and wherein the first sealing face 114 is oriented so that the first elastic member 120 is sandwiched and deformed between the first sealing face 114 and the container 200, when the support member 100 is connected to the container 200.
Container and closure
A closure for dispensing one or more active agents into a container comprises a sealed or sealable chamber having a breakable wall and a hollow piston slidably mounted in a piston guide. Said hollow piston comprises an outer wall having an end in the chamber and at least one ventilation aperture. Said end has a cutting formation. Said hollow piston is slidable in the piston guide between a ventilation position in which the at least one ventilation aperture allows ventilation of the chamber and a sealed position in which the at least one ventilation aperture is sealed to prevent ventilation of the chamber and a deployed position in which the cutting formation has broken through at least a portion of the breakable wall. The outer wall has a retaining formation which engages with the piston guide to releasably resist sliding of the hollow piston between the ventilation position and the sealed position and the deployed position. The hollow piston may have an outer wall, and said outer wall has an end within the chamber, facing the breakable wall, wherein the cutting end has a first edge having a cutting formation and a gap in said cutting formation.
Package
The present invention relates to a package, and more particularly to a package for sterile fluids, such as contrast media. More particularly the invention relates to a package comprising a container, a stopper (40), a cap (50) and a flip cover (60).
Exposure-preventing cap
Provided is an exposure-preventing cap of a novel and simple structure that, by being mounted on a vial, can more reliably inhibit leaking of drug solution to an outside when pulling out and collecting drug solution in a syringe from the vial. An exposure-preventing cap, which is mounted on a mouth of a vial sealed with a rubber stopper, wherein a puncturing hole is formed in a center part of a cap-shaped housing that is attached to a mouth of the vial, and a rubber membrane is arranged at the puncturing hole so as to form an internal space between facing surfaces of the rubber membrane and the rubber stopper. The rubber membrane has a dome shape that is convex facing the rubber stopper.
CONTAINER FOR FABRIC TREATMENT COMPOSITION
A container for a fabric treatment composition having: (a) a container floor extending to a floor boundary, a portion of the container floor being a collection zone, and a raised portion extending inwardly within the container, at least a portion of the collection zone being located on a longitudinal axis of the container and at least a portion of the raised portion intersecting the longitudinal axis and transverse axis of the container; (b) a peripheral wall extending from the container floor; (c) a peripheral flange extending from the peripheral wall; and (d) a needle piercable membrane sealed to the peripheral flange to define an interior volume, wherein the interior volume contains less than about 100 mL of a liquid fabric treatment composition.
Tamper-evident closure assembly having two tamper-evidencing members, and related methods
A tamper-evident closure assembly is provided for a container having a neck defining an opening. The closure assembly includes a base cap configured for securing with the neck of the container. The base cap includes an aperture for providing access to the opening of the container in the neck. The closure assembly further includes an overcap configured for securing with the base cap and configured to cover the aperture in the base cap when the overcap is secured to the base cap. First and second tamper-evidencing members are associated with the base cap and the overcap, respectively. The first tamper-evidencing member provides an indication when the base cap has been removed from the neck, and the second tamper-evidencing member provides an indication when the overcap has been removed from the base cap.
NO-SPILL DRINKING CONTAINER
A liquid container lid assembly includes a straw having an internal one-way valve and a grommet seal for sealing against the straw. As a result, the disclosed liquid container lid assembly allows a consumer (such as a child) to drink from the straw while preventing accidental spillage without the need for the child to manipulate any part of the lid assembly (such as a lock or valve release). In other words, the liquid container lid assembly is always in a no-spill configuration while simultaneously allowing a consumer to drink from the straw.
LOW TEMPERATURE VIALS AND VIAL ASSEMBLIES
Vials and vial assemblies for storing a medicament in low temperature environments are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a vial is provided that includes a base portion and a finish portion. The finish portion has an outer surface and an inner surface, in which the inner surface defines a channel that is configured to receive a first portion of a deformable sealing member. The finish portion on the outer surface thereof includes a surface feature that is configured to engage with a second portion of the deformable sealing member. The surface feature is configured to remain engaged with the second portion of the deformable sealing member when the deformable sealing member contracts from a first configuration to a second configuration, thereby maintaining a seal between the finish portion and the deformable sealing member.
Liquid storage and delivery mechanisms and methods
A method is provided comprising loading shells into shell retention chambers of a shell management module, the shells including corresponding reservoirs configured to hold individual quantities of liquid, the shell retention chambers arranged in a predetermined pattern on a platform of the shell management module. The method further comprises orienting discharge ends of the shells along an actuation direction within the shell retention chambers, and covering the discharge ends with closure lids to seal bottoms of the corresponding reservoirs.
