A degradable containment includes an outer structural layer constructed of a pulp material, a central carrier layer constructed of a biopolymer, and an interior nanomaterial layer constructed of a nanomaterial.

INSULATED SPECIMEN CONTAINER

An insulated shipping container system for transporting temperature sensitive specimens includes an insulated body, an insulated lid, and a stretchable strap. The insulated body has an internal cavity that is accessible through an opening and has a cross-sectional shape. The insulated lid is configured for selectively closing the opening to the internal cavity when the lid is in a closed position. The stretchable strap is removably attachable to each of the insulated body and the insulated lid. The stretchable strap is configured to stretch and attach to a lug on the insulated body to selectively hold the insulated lid in the closed position and further configured to retain the insulated lid to the insulated body when the lid is in an opened position. The insulated shipping container system may also include a freezable cold pack having a shape corresponding to the cross-sectional shape of the internal cavity.

A collapsible travel bottle comprising a flexible main body comprising an inner space for receiving a liquid therein, the main body including an upper portion, a middle portion, and a lower portion, an opening in the upper portion in communication with the inner space to allow receiving and discharging of the liquid within the flexible main body, a rigid collar coupled to the upper portion proximate the opening, a rigid cap coupled to the rigid collar to restrict receiving and discharging of the liquid within the flexible main body through the opening, the middle portion configured to enable both the top portion and the middle portion to collapse fully into the bottom portion.

Flip-top closure

A flip-top closure includes first and second polymeric closure portions. The first closure portion includes a top wall portion, a sealing mechanism and an annular skirt portion. The second closure portion includes a tamper-evident band. The closure portions are attached by a line of weakness. The closure portions are further attached via a hinge. The hinge includes a locking tab, a flexible tab and linking segments. The locking tab extends further outwardly from a center of the closure in a closed position than the flexible tab and the linking segments. During the opening of the flip-top closure, the locking tab moves and passes the flexible tab such that the flip-top closure locks in a fully open position.

RECEPTACLE FOR HOLDING AN ACTIVE SUBSTANCE AND CORRESPONDING CAP AND CONTAINER
20220313553 · 2022-10-06 ·

A receptacle is designed for a chamber for an active substance. The receptacle includes two main elements. A first element is a transverse wall with a first main side facing an interior of the chamber, and a peripheral wall formed with the first main side of the transverse wall. A second element includes a bottom wall and a sheath extending from the bottom wall. The peripheral wall and the sheath surround one another and are in contact with each other so that the chamber is formed between the bottom wall, the transverse wall, the peripheral wall and/or the sheath. At least one ventilation groove is provided between the peripheral wall and the sheath form a ventilation channel connecting the chamber with the outside atmosphere.

A CAP FOR CLOSING A CONTAINER
20220315290 · 2022-10-06 ·

A cap for a container comprises a lateral wall extending around an axis and a transversal wall arranged transversally to the axis, a separating line being provided on the lateral wall to define: a retaining ring intended to remain anchored to a neck of the container, and a closing element removably engageable with the neck to open or close the container.

The separating line extends around the axis and is circumferentially interrupted for defining a joining portion which joins the retaining ring and the closing element.

The cap further has an incision line which extends in the lateral wall, transversally to the axis, so that the separating line is axially interposed between the retaining ring and the incision line.

Two connecting bands are defined between the separating line and the incision line to keep the closing element connected to the retaining ring.

Tethered Cap and Spout

Disclosed herein are tethered cap and spout combinations. The tethered cap and spout combinations prevent loss of the cap after opening. In an implementation, the tethered cap and spout combinations may provide mechanisms for puncturing or opening a seal that may be present at a throat or neck of the container which provides both an anti-tampering and freshness function. In an implementation, the tethered cap and spout combinations may provide anti-tampering mechanisms. In an implementation, the tethered cap and spout combinations may provide mechanisms to hold an opened and tethered cap away from the container opening during use.
