Carrier for a plurality of containers

A carrier for holding a plurality of containers includes a central panel for engaging the plurality of containers and at least one attachment feature in the central panel that receives and holds a top portion of at least one container of the plurality of containers. The at least one attachment feature includes an opening in the central panel, a first retention feature, and a second retention feature. The first retention feature and the second retention feature includes a respective first retention edge and second retention edge of the central panel defining a respective first portion and a second portion of the opening and for engaging a respective first portion and a second portion of at least one container of the plurality of containers to at least partially attach the at least one container to the carrier.

Container carrier with registration apertures

A container carrier with a uniform pitch applicating feature for applying container carriers onto containers to form a multipackage. A uniform series of apertures is formed on the container carrier in the machine direction of a multipack carrier. Application machines may use the apertures for synchronizing the container carrier material to the containers, thereby making it container pitch independent. The resulting internal features of the carrier that would receive the containers can then be varied to best match the containers with little to no impact to the application machine.

CONTAINER CARRIER

A container carrier for unitizing a plurality of containers includes a network of molded ribs forming a plurality of container receiving openings formed in a first plane and a plurality of teeth formed in the first plane and extending toward a center of each container receiving opening. A rail may be positioned on an underside of the container carrier between each pair of container receiving openings.

CONTAINER CARRIER WITH FLEXIBLE RAISED HANDLE

A container carrier and manufacturing method therefor are provided. The container carrier may include an integrally molded body with a top surface, a bottom surface, and a plurality of annular structures. Each annular structure may connect to at least one adjacent annular structure and may include a circumferential rib with a plurality of flanges, which are collectively configured to secure a container. An integrally formed handle may extend upward from the body of the container carrier. The handle may include a graspable region and a bifurcated region that forms a pair of arms that connect to the body and support the graspable region in an upright configuration in an unbiased state. The arms may flex such that an intersection of the bifurcated region and graspable region moves to accommodate a downward flexion of the handle when a downward biasing force is applied to the handle in a biased state.
