Multilayer structure, and standup pouch including the multilayer structure
A multilayer structure includes a protective layer, an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer layer, a heat seal resin layer, and an intermediate layer provided between the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer layer and the heat seal resin layer and containing a polypropylene resin, wherein the intermediate layer further contains a hydrocarbon resin having a number average molecular weight of 100 to 3,000, and a softening point of not less than 60° C. and less than 170° C. The multilayer structure satisfies requirements for a lower water vapor permeability and a sufficient heat seal strength, and provides a standup pouch having a smaller gas barrier property change rate after retort treatment.
Sheet for container
Provided is a sheet for container to be used in a flexible container, the sheet for container having a plurality of films layered in the sheet for container, the sheet for container including: a first film including a first base-material layer, which is coated with a first applying-type gas barrier layer and made of a single type of material having a heat-sealing property; and a second film including a second base-material layer, which is coated with a second applying-type gas barrier layer and made of a single type of material that is a same type of material as the first base-material layer, in which: the first film and the second film are attached to each other by heat sealing; and a gas enclosing portion, which is partially non-attached and in which gas is able to be enclosed, is formed between the first film and the second film.
DISPOSABLE CONTAINER WITH BREACHABLE SAUCE PACKET
Disclosed are disposable containers, such as a stand-up pouch, for heating food in a microwave oven and while automatically dispensing sauce onto the food. Methods and apparatuses for making sauce packets and disposable containers are also disclosed. eodcmaster
Recycle-ready retortable laminated polyester-based gusseted pouches
In one aspect, a pouch includes a first panel, a second panel, and a bottom gusset, wherein the first panel, second panel, and bottom gusset are formed of a polyester-based film structure and wherein the bending stiffness of the bottom gusset panel is less than or equal to 0.05 N/mm. Each of the polyester-based film structures may be formed of a polyester-based polymeric composition comprising polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or a blend from 0-100% by weight of PBT in PET. It is contemplated that each polyester-based film structure may comprise two or more film plies laminated to each other.
Container and container with enclosed contents
A container includes a bag, which has an internal space to accommodate contents and a first opening, and a fastener to open and close the first opening. The bag places contents into the internal space through the first opening. The bag also has a second opening and also places contents into the internal space through the second opening.
Container
A container has an inner container that accommodates an article, with an opening through which the article can be discharged; and a cover that is composed of a cover-forming sheet member given by lamination of a plurality of film layers, and covers the inner container; the cover-forming sheet member has a film region in which the plurality of film layers are attached to each other, and filler enclosing parts in which a filler is enclosed between the plurality of film layers, and bulges in the thickness direction of the cover-forming sheet member than the film region; and, the inner container has an outer air introducing part through which the outer air is introduced between the outer surface of the inner container and the inner surface of the cover.
POUCH KIT WITH ATTACHED VIAL
A flexible pouch kit that includes a flexible pouch having front and rear panels joined by peripheral seals defining a compartment. A bottom gusset is joined with the front and rear panels. A pair of side gussets are formed and positioned between the bottom gusset and a top peripheral seal of the front and rear panels. The pair of side gussets define an attachment area. A sealable fitment is attached and sealed to the front and rear panels. At least one vial is positioned and removably connected in the attachment area of at least one of the pair of side gussets. The compartment includes a first component and the vial includes a second component different from the first component which is mixed in the compartment after opening of the sealable fitment. A frangible seal may be positioned between the compartment and a top peripheral seal.
Beverage Container
A drink container comprising: a pouch with exterior and interior surfaces, the interior surface defining an internal chamber; a straw located entirely within the internal chamber; a seam connected to a border of the pouch, the seam partially separating a first portion of the internal chamber from a second portion of the internal chamber; wherein the straw is fixedly attached to the interior surface at a first location; wherein the pouch includes first and second opposing side panels, the first and second opposing side panels coupled to one another along the border and along the seam; wherein the first side panel includes first and second layers; wherein a first portion of the first side panel includes the first layer but not the second layer; wherein the first portion of the internal chamber includes: (a) the first portion of the first side panel, and (b) a first end of the straw.
Laminate and stand-up pouch
Disclosed is a laminate including a protection layer, a barrier layer, and a heat sealing layer, in which a product of a tensile elastic modulus A in a reference direction, a tensile elastic modulus B in a direction forming an angle of 45° with respect to the reference direction, and a tensile elastic modulus C in a direction forming an angle of 90° with respect to the reference direction is 0.22 (GPa).sup.3 or less, and a value of the tensile elastic modulus B to the tensile elastic modulus A, a value of the tensile elastic modulus C to the tensile elastic modulus A, and a value of the tensile elastic modulus C to the tensile elastic modulus B are each 0.1 to 10.
STAND-UP FLEXIBLE CONTAINERS AND METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR PRODUCING THE CONTAINERS
A container may include an envelope made of flexible material, wherein the envelope includes lower and upper ends, and wherein the envelope is closed at least at the lower end. The envelope may include: opposite first walls, each having an edge at the lower end; a base at the lower end, configured to rest upon a support surface; and a pair of additional walls between the first walls, wherein each additional wall is joined to the first walls via a pair of additional edges, and wherein each additional wall has a lower folding zone at the base. Each edge may be defined by a heat seal formed between a first wall and the base. The base may be formed with a shape that defines a concavity designed to face the support surface. The base may include a pair of half-parts separated by a central fold to define the concavity.
