PACKAGING TRAY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
Thermoplastic packaging trays are provided that are filled with a product and wrapped in film, and methods of producing the tray with a peripheral edge region that avoids tearing of the overwrap film. In various embodiments, the tray has a beaded, a flat, or a combined beaded and flat peripheral edge.
PACKAGING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A packaging system includes an inner box and an outer box. The inner box is adapted to receive items to be transported and has a base, a side wall and a lid. The outer box is adapted to house the inner box and has a base, a side wall and a lid. The base and the lid of the outer box are adapted to form a flat pack that houses a folded-down form of the inner box and of the side wall of the outer box for transport within the flat pack. The folded-down form of the inner box can be removed from the flat pack and assembled to form the inner box. The folded down form of the side wall of the outer box can be removed from the flat pack and assembled together with the base and the lid of the outer box to form the outer box.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STERILELY ENCLOSING A CONTAINER
Sterilely enclosing a container by means of at least two caps by: gripping a first region of a container provided with a first cap in a first region by means of first tongs, by gripping and clamping the first cap; and sliding a second cap onto a second region of the container in such a way that one or more of: the second cap abuts the first cap, the second cap slips over the first cap, or the second cap is slipped over by the first cap; or the first cap and the second cap are connected by means of complementary screw threads, protrusions, cut-outs, or engagement elements; or a connection that provides sterile sealing-off from the outside of the first and second caps can be formed between the first and second caps, leaving a bridgeable distance between the first and second caps.
ARRANGEMENT COMPRISING A HOLDING DEVICE AND A PLURALITY OF CONTAINERS WITH A PARTICLE LOAD AFTER A TRANSPORT SIMULATION
An arrangement includes: a holding device including holding elements; and contain-ers, each of the containers including a container wall which at least partially surrounds a container interior. The container wall has an exterior surface which faces away from the container interior. Each of the containers is detachably held by at least one of the holding elements by contact of the at least one holding element to the exterior surface of the container wall of the respective container. Directly after the arrangement has been subjected to a transport simulation, a number of particles of a particle size of at least 5 μm on the exterior surfaces of the containers does not exceed 2.7 particles per cm.sup.2 of a sum of surface areas of the exterior surfaces of all the containers, the transport simulation consisting of a rotational flat drop test and a random vibration test which are conducted in that order.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PACKAGING MEDICAL CONTAINERS
A packaging system for medical containers having a main opening, comprising: a vessel having a shoulder; a tray provided with cavities that is intended for receiving a medical container and rests on the shoulder; a plurality of caps that close the main opening; and a lid that seals the vessel. A method for packaging medical containers, comprises the following steps: providing a vessel; arranging a tray on the shoulder of the vessel; arranging medical containers in the cavities; arranging a cap on the medical containers so as to close the main opening thereof; sealing a lid on an upper edge of the peripheral wall of the vessel; and placing the vessel in at least one sealed bag.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EXTENDING THE SHELF LIFE OF A PACKAGE CONTAINING A FRESH FOOD PRODUCT
A package, system and method for packaging a fresh food product having an improved shelf-life. The system includes: one or more individual packages having a food product sealed therein, the packages are made from an oxygen permeable film having an oxygen transmission rate (OTR) of at least 10,000 cc (STP)/m.sup.2/day/1 atm at 23° C. at 0% relative humidity (RH) measured according to ASTM 3985. The individual packages are disposed in an interior space of a master pouch. The master pouch is made from a film having an oxygen barrier layer such that the OTR of the master pouch film is less than 20 cc (STP)/m.sup.2/day/1 atm at 23° C. at 0% RH measured according to ASTM 3985. The interior space of the master pouch includes a modified atmosphere having CO.sub.2 and has an oxygen concentration that is less than 0.1% by volume.
Packaging for Tobacco Industry Products
Packaging for tobacco industry products is disclosed. The packaging comprises a pack (2) for holding tobacco industry products, and an outer wrapper (3) enveloping the pack. The outer wrapper comprises a removable portion (17) arranged to prevent opening of the pack until the removable portion has been removed. One of the pack and the removable portion comprises a tamper evident feature that remains attached to the other of the pack or the removable portion after the removable portion is removed from the pack. A method of packaging tobacco industry products is also disclosed.
Portable Cooling Multipack
The present disclosure provides a portable cooling multipack for holding and cooling a plurality of beverage containers. The multipack includes a primary container formed from an open top housing, having a bottom surface, and a plurality of sidewalls connected and extended away from the bottom surface to define an inner surface there-between, accessible through a top open surface. The multipack further includes a closing wrap for closing the top open surface of the housing of the primary container. The closing wrap includes a plurality of panels defining a first end panel connected to a second end panel through a bottom panel at one end and extending towards a top panel at another end. The closing wrap is wrapped around a pair of sidewalls of the primary containers in a vertical direction such that the top panel of the closing wrap sealingly covers the open top surface of the primary container.
Packaging and process for the sterile packaging of objects for medical, pharmaceutical or cosmetic applications
Packaging for the sterile storage and transport of objects for medical, pharmaceutical or cosmetic applications and a packaging process are provided. The packaging includes at least one bag made of a first and a second web, bonded to one another, a feature thereof being that the first web consists of a selectively permeable nonwoven fabric and that the second web consists of a laminated film with at least three layers, where the first layer is a polymer film arranged on the external side of the bag, the second layer is a lamination adhesive and the third layer is a polymer film arranged on the internal side of the bag. At least one of the layers of the second web includes one or more pigments. In an 8-bit greyscale image, the seal seam, imaged in transmitted light and contrast-standardized, is depicted within a greyscale value range of 50-200.
