The blister card or strip includes a formable, pliable sheet material, into which one or more individual cavities or blisters are formed. The separated cavities are loaded with product and sealed with one or more layers of puncturable or tearable sheet material, such as aluminum foil. The blister card or strip contains a plastic rivet assembly that forms an interference mechanism. The rivet is trapped by an internally formed panel and stopped by a catch flap included in the outer package.

Compositions and methods for improved packaging and storage of dry foodstuffs
Provided herein is a degassing valve for a foodstuff product including a valve body, a one-way valve element positioned on the valve body, and a filter associated with said valve body wherein the filter is configured to facilitate the passage of a gas. The gas may be selected from the group consisting of carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen, and methane. Additionally, the gas may be a longer molecular chain gas that comprises the aroma of the product. The filter of the valve body may include activated charcoal, an activated charcoal mixture or a combination thereof. In some embodiments, the foodstuff product comprises breadcrumbs, spices, or other flavorful dry foods, the aroma(s) of which can provide an important marketing benefit.

A medicament delivery device is received in the first region and a medicament container is received in the second region. The packaging body includes a hinge between the first and second regions such that the first and second regions are pivotable about the hinge from a storage position in which the first and second regions are spaced apart to a loading position in which the first region lies adjacent the second region. The chamber and medicament container are equidistantly spaced from the hinge such that the medicament container is loaded into the chamber when the first and second regions are pivoted into the loading position.
