Apparatus for safer chick transportation
A box for safe chick transportation comprises a truncated or frusto-section of a rectangular pyramid structure, with a greater lineal dimension at the base of the compartment than at its top such that when grouped in any number in excess of two, they provide a V-shaped passageway for adequate ventilation between the plurality of boxes. A vertically aligned cylindrical insert placed within the rectangular pyramid structure encompassing at least a portion of the internal area thereby eliminating corners to decrease chick mortality. The rectangular pyramid structure a base compartment operable to receive a temperature control element therein for temperature control of the box contents.
BIODEGRADABLE AND COMPOSTABLE PACKAGING MATERIAL AND PACKAGE USING SAME
A packaging material including a film that is biodegradable and compostable, wherein at least one aperture is formed in the film. The at least one aperture is structured and distributed such that the film controls oxygen permeability and water vapor permeability to such an extent that when the film encompasses a food product that is initially fresh the food product will remain fresh for at least one additional day when compared with the case that the film is replaced by a plastic that is not biodegradable and compostable.

Thermal regulating lay flat beverage container packaging
Beverage container packing trays, systems, and techniques of packing beverage containers include at least a beverage container tray including beverage container contoured compartments configured to receive one or more beverage containers in a lay flat configuration. The beverage container contoured compartments include at least a cradle element, a conical element, and a neck support element. The beverage container tray includes thermo pack compartments that house transport thermo packs adjacent to at least a portion of the beverage containers.
COCKTAIL SHAKER AND CHILLER APPARATUS
An apparatus for accommodating a beverage includes an outer vessel defining a vessel cavity for receiving a cooling agent, a container having a lid and a beverage receptacle and a port. The lid is configured for engagement with the outer vessel to releasably mount the container to the outer vessel. The beverage receptacle defines a receptacle chamber for accommodating a liquid beverage for consumption by a user. The receptacle chamber is isolated from the vessel cavity. The beverage receptacle comprises a thermal conductive material and is at least partially disposed within the vessel cavity of the outer vessel when the container is mounted to the outer vessel whereby thermal energy is transferred from the cooling agent to the liquid beverage. The port defines a port opening in fluid communication with the receptacle chamber to permit distribution of the liquid beverage to the user. The outer vessel and mounted container may be positioned within a freezing apparatus to freeze the cooling agent, e.g., water about the beverage receptacle.

BEVERAGE CHILLER
A beverage chiller assembly has a bottom vessel portion and a top portion comprising a plurality of extruded tubes arranged in an array. The bottom and top portions fit together to receive and expeditiously chill a beverage, such as an individual portion of hot coffee, to produce ice coffee, or a bottle of white wine, or a serving of another beverage. The tubes are pre-cooled and extend vertically down into the beverage or fluid volume, and are arranged and dimensioned to provide effective, fast and substantially uniform cooling of the intended beverage volume to a specified serving temperature. Embodiments quickly convert hot coffee to iced coffee, or chill white wine to a proper temperature for serving. Specific embodiments may attain a stable final temperature and also function as serving vessels at table.
ROBOTIC MANIPULATION METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR EXECUTING A DOMAIN-SPECIFIC APPLICATION IN AN INSTRUMENTED ENVIRONMENT WITH CONTAINERS AND ELECTRONIC MINIMANIPULATION LIBRARIES
This disclosure discloses various technical features for creating robotic humanoid movements, actions, and interactions with tools and the instrumented environment by automatically building movements for the humanoid; actions and behaviors of the humanoid based on a set of computer-encoded robotic movement and action primitives. The primitives are defined by motions/actions of articulated degrees of freedom that range in complexity from simple to complex, and which can be combined in any form in serial/parallel fashion. These motion-primitives are termed to be minimanipulations and each has a clear time-indexed command input-structure and output behavior/performance profile that is intended to achieve a certain function. Minimanipulations comprise a new way of creating a programmable-by-example platform for robots. The minimanipulation electronic libraries provide a large suite of higher-level sensing-and-execution sequences that are common building blocks for complex tasks, such as cooking, taking care of the infirm, or other tasks performed by robots.
