DISPENSING MANDREL
20220073227 · 2022-03-10 · ·

The invention relates to a dispensing mandrel (1) for dispensing material from a flexible bulk goods container, the dispensing mandrel (1) comprising a hollow body (2) which has an upper and a lower opening surface. A tip adjoins the upper end of the hollow body (2), leaving the upper opening of the hollow body (2) at least partially free. The tip is formed by at least three struts (3) which are planar, radially oriented elements which each abut the inner face (16) of the hollow body (2) with the lower outer edge (15) thereof, and meet at the upper end of the dispensing mandrel (1), thereby forming a tip. At least one transverse strut (12), which abuts against the hollow body (2) with the lower edge (13) thereof, projects from each strut (3).

BAG MATERIAL AND CRUSHED STONE PLACEMENT METHOD USING BAG MATERIAL

A bag material has a tubular shape and can be folded back at an intermediate position in a longitudinal direction. Crushed stones can be stored in a folded part of the back material. An opening on one side of the bag material can be moved to a position close to an opening on the other side of the bag material. A one-side closing rope that closes the opening on the one side of the bag material is provided near this opening. An other-side closing rope that closes the opening on the other side of the bag material is provided near this opening. The other of the one-side closing rope and the other-side closing ropes can be released with the opening closed by one closing rope.

Method of manufacturing an FIBC, FIBC

A novel method for manufacturing a cubicle flexible intermediate bulk container is disclosed. At least two opposing sidewalls of the cubicle FIBC has a lower portion and an upper portion, both of which are formed of a combination of sheet material cut in rectangular and trapezoidal geometries.

A FLEXIBLE BIG BAG EMBODIMENT PREVENTING WAVE

The present invention relates to a flexible big bag (10) provided for carrying liquid or liquid based material, stored therein, in a vehicle chassis or in a container, and having a first layer (101) which defines a closed volume.

Packaging assembly for the transport and storing of roasted coffee and method for packaging roasted coffee beans

Packaging assembly for the transport of coffee in the form of roasted beans, comprising: at least one impermeable bag, impermeable at least to oxygen and water vapour; said at least one impermeable bag being flexible and sealable in a watertight manner to prevent the introduction of fluids or gases; at least one unidirectional valve sealingly applied to said at least one impermeable bag which only allows gas to escape from the impermeable bag preventing the entry of gas into the impermeable bag, wherein said at least one unidirectional valve makes it possible to achieve an over-pressure inside the impermeable bag variable from 3 to 60 mbar.

Bags for the transport and storage of bulk goods or liquids

There is disclosed a bag for the transport and storage of bulk goods or liquids formed by the assembly of several double-thickness pieces of fabric, including first and second pieces of fabric, each having opposite first and second sides extending between first and second folded-in flattened edges. Each piece of fabric includes at least one gusset defined by a first oblique section extending between the first folded-in flattened edge and a first gusset end positioned on the second side of the piece of fabric and a second gusset end positioned on the first side of the piece of fabric. The first and second pieces of fabric are assembled such that the second side of the second piece of fabric is in contact with or close to the first side of the first piece of fabric such that the first and second gusset ends of the first and second pieces of fabric are substantially aligned. The first and second pieces of fabric are assembled by means of seams formed around or near the first and second gusset ends of the first and second pieces of fabric.

FLEX-CRACK RESISTANT AND THERMALLY RESISTANT ASEPTIC BULK BAGS FOR FLEXIBLE PACKAGING
20210252837 · 2021-08-19 ·

This invention relates to inner-plies for bulk-bags that surprisingly offer not only high thermal resistance, but also high flex-crack resistance. This invention also relates to such bulk-bags made for packaging of flowable materials, aseptic or otherwise, and the process for improving their flex-crack and thermal resistance. Preferably, the packaging is aseptic. More specifically, the inner-ply of the invention comprises a resin blend comprising the Exceed® XP resin; an LDPE resin or an ethylene—α-olefin copolymer (EAO copolymer); or a blend of said LDPE resin and said EAO copolymer, with flex-crack resistance improved in both machine direction and transverse direction, in conjunction with an improved thermal resistance. Thus, in addition to possessing good flex-crack resistance, the bulk-bags can withstand steam sterilization and/or aseptic packaging conditions.
