APPARATUS FOR ENGAGING AND SECURING CONTAINER CORNER FITTINGS
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for manipulating and securing containers. In one example, a method includes attaching a tool to a first corner fitting of a first container and a second corner fitting of a second container; applying a torque to the rotatable pinion in order to cause the first corner fitting to engage the second corner fitting; and removing the tool from the first corner fitting and the second corner fitting.
Cover assembly
A cover assembly is disclosed. The cover assembly may cover a gap between a first container and a second container. The cover assembly may have a first rigid element. The cover assembly may also have a second rigid element. Further, the cover assembly may have an elastic body. The elastic body may be positioned between the first rigid element and the second rigid element. The cover assembly may also have a bolt. The bolt may connect the first rigid element with the second rigid element.
Liftable carrying apparatus
A liftable carrying apparatus for loading a pocket wagon with vehicles by a lifting apparatus includes a first support portion for at least one vehicle that extends over a length, at least one second support portion for at least one vehicle, that is arranged above the first support portion and extends over a length, and receiving locations, in particular receiving pockets, for a lifting apparatus, that are arranged at the first and the at least one second support portions. The length over which the first support portion extends and the length over which the at least one second support portion extends differ from each other, and the first and the at least one second support portions are or can be releasably connected together for joint lifting by a lifting apparatus.
CONNECTOR AND METHOD OF USE OF SAME
A connector includes a first body, a second body, a first fastener, and a second fastener. The first body has a base portion and a protrusion, the protrusion extends away from the base portion along a first direction, and the first body has a first cavity that extends into the protrusion and towards the base portion along the first direction. The second body has a second cavity, which is shaped to receive the protrusion such that rotation of the first body relative to the second body is blocked. The connector may be used to attach structural members, for example during the construction of a modular structure.
SELF-STORAGE FACILITY, FABRICATION, AND METHODOLOGY
A self-storage facility. The facility comprises a first set of commercial containers forming a first level of storage volume and a second set of commercial containers, atop the first set, forming a second level of storage volume.
Container
A container has an anti-vibration property so that the container does not shake in vibration. The container includes a bottom part, a ceiling part facing the bottom part, a sidewall part connecting the bottom part to the ceiling part, and a rack installed to be fixed in an inner space that is surrounded by the bottom part, the ceiling part, and the sidewall part.
Self-storage facility, fabrication, and methodology
A self-storage facility. The facility comprises a first set of commercial containers forming a first level of storage volume and a second set of commercial containers, atop the first set, forming a second level of storage volume.
Connecting mechanism and collapsible container comprising the same
A connecting mechanism is used for a collapsible container, the collapsible container comprises a top cover and a chassis, four corners of the top cover are provided with a top corner piece which is connected with a top cover corner pillar, and four corners of the chassis are provided with a bottom corner piece which is connected with a chassis corner pillar, the connecting mechanism comprises a crook lug located at one of the top cover corner pillar and the chassis corner pillar; and a crook locking plate rotatablely provided at the outer end face of the other of the top cover corner pillar and the chassis corner pillar, the crook locking plate is provided with a crook part cooperating with the crook lug.
LIFTABLE CARRYING APPARATUS
A liftable carrying apparatus for loading a pocket wagon with vehicles by a lifting apparatus includes a first support means for at least one vehicle, that extends over a length, at least one second support means for at least one vehicle, that is arranged above the first support means and extends over a length, and receiving locations, in particular receiving pockets, for a lifting apparatus, that are arranged at the first and the at least one second support means. The length, over which the first support means extends and the length, over which the at least one second support means extends, differ from each other, and the first and the at least one second support means are or can be releasably connected together for joint lifting by a lifting apparatus.
Container lashing process and system
A process for lashing containers with a power tool, a lashing rod (2) connectable to a container and a turnbuckle (1) connectable to a container transport vehicle. The turnbuckle comprises a first connection part (14) connectable to the lashing rod and second connection part (15) connectable to the container transport vehicle, the turnbuckle being rotatable around it's longitudinal axis (L). At least one of the connection parts comprises a tensioning part (144) for tensioning the lashing rod by adapting the overall length of the turnbuckle and lashing rod. The tensioning part is driven by a drive part (145) which is operated by a power tool. For lashing a container the turnbuckle is connected to the container transport vehicle and the lashing rod, which is connected to the container. The turnbuckle is rotated until the drive part is accessible by the power tool. Then, the drive part is driven by the power tool.
