CORRUGATED STORAGE CONTAINER
A corrugated storage container is provided that includes a box section with a top wall and corrugated side walls and end walls, a tapered funnel section extending downwardly from the box section and a frame supporting the box section and the funnel section. The frame includes vertical posts that are integrally joined with the box section and a base section formed at the lower end of the vertical posts and supporting the funnel section. The configuration of the corrugated storage container provides approximately 600 cubic feet of enclosed interior volume capable of storing between 50,000 and 51,000 pounds of bulk material.
PORTABLE TANK
A tank for bulk material storage and transport and method for producing same. In an embodiment, a tank is provided that includes a shell having a sidewall, a neck including a first collar, and a tube terminating in a second collar. A frustoconical cap may be secured to the first collar. A substantially conical cap may be secured to the second collar. A liner may be applied to the shell so that the liner substantially covers an interior surface of the sidewall, an interior surface of the neck, at least a portion of the first collar, an interior surface of the tube, and at least a portion of the second collar. Annular thickened segments may be trimmed to prepare the tank for use. The annular thickened segments may be located at an interior joint between the frustoconical cap and the first collar, and/or an interior joint between the substantially conical cap and the second collar. The trimming step may form first and second sealing surfaces of the liner adjacent respectively to the first and second collars. The first and second sealing surfaces may respectively be configured to substantially seal against a manway cover and an outlet cover. In a final, assembled preferred form, the frustoconical and substantially conical caps are replaced with the manway assembly and outlet cover, respectively sealed against the first and second sealing surfaces.
STORAGE SYSTEM INCLUDING A VERTICAL TRANSFER DEVICE
A load storage system is provided for holding standardized containers including a first stocker for being positioned on a first story and a second stocker for being positioned on a second story. The first and second stockers each include at least one load support for supporting the standardized containers. A floor is positioned between the first and second stockers. The floor defines a portal between and directly connecting the first and second stockers. The portal is positioned in alignment with the load supports in the first and second stockers. A vertical transfer device is positioned in alignment with the load supports in the first and second stockers and is configured to move the standardized containers through the portal between the first and second stockers. A method of operating the load storage system is also provided.
METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING CONTAINER
A method for transferring a container configured to hold at least one article used in semiconductor fabrication is provided. The method includes moving a transferring mechanism to a first position that is adjacent to the original space; producing an image of an edge of the container that is adjacent to the original space using an optical receiver before the container is moved to a destination space; and performing an image analysis of the image to determine whether to move the container to the destination space.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE OR A CONTAINER, AND VEHICLE OR CONTAINER HAVING SUCH A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Hydraulic system and vehicles and containers having such a hydraulic system. The hydraulic system has at least two supporting cylinders for extending ground supports, and at least two hydraulic pumps connected to a hydraulic main line, and at least one supporting cylinder is provided on each of the two hydraulic main lines. The hydraulic system also has a main valve via which the two hydraulic main lines can be connected to one another or disconnected from one another.
Shipping cargo container with a removable shell that exposes cargo for safe and easy loading and unloading of the cargo
A improved shipping container and related methods are embodied by a removable shell that exposes cargo for safe and easy loading and unloading of the cargo.
CARGO CONTAINER
To avoid or reduce the necessity of loading a cargo container on a container carrying vehicle, for example, a cargo container 100 includes: engaging portions 101b disposed at four corners of each of upper and lower surfaces of a shell 101 and each engageable with a spreader of a container crane; and a wheel 113 capable of supporting the cargo container 100 such that the cargo container 100 is allowed to run. The wheel 113 is switchable between a runnable state where at least a lowermost portion is located below a bottom surface 101c of the cargo container 100 and supports the cargo container 100 such that the cargo container 100 is allowed to run, and a loaded state where the wheel 113 moves inward from the bottom surface 101c and the bottom surface 101c is allowed to make contact with a mount surface of the cargo container 100.
Intermodal container, handling method and apparatus
The present invention provides a lid (400) for an open container (100, 13.10), a lid lifting system (13.100), a tippler (13.200) with the improved lid lifting system (13.100) and a method of lifting a container. The lid and lifting arrangement includes an apertured receiving formation (401) on an upper side of a lid (100) to receive a lift member (13.40). The lift member (13.40) can do one or more than one of the following: engaging the formation (401) will unlock a locking mechanism (13.42,458) holding the lid (400) to a container (100); or allow the lift member (13.40) to be rotated to thereby unlock the locking mechanism (13.42, 458) which locks the lid (400) to the container (100), while simultaneously locking the lift member (13.40, 458) to the lid (400). A lifting device which is able to perform such actions is also disclosed, and a method to operate the lifting device.
Storage and transportation radome container
A storage and transportation container for a radome of an aircraft is disclosed having a top wall, and bottom wall that are planar and parallel to one another, and a peripheral wall, wherein the top, bottom, and peripheral walls form an enclosure for supporting the radome within the container. The top wall has a closed curved outline and a surface of a dimension greater than that of the bottom wall having an outline which forms a parallelogram thus making it possible to receive the radome with its curved nose pointing downwards, and wherein the geometry of the container is matched to the form of the radome and of the hold.
Environmental containment device
An environmental containment device includes a baseplate extending a longitudinal length and two ends disposed at opposing ends of the longitudinal length. The baseplate has two longitudinal edges extending along the longitudinal length and two lateral edges extending along a lateral width of the baseplate. A flexible sidewall can extend along at least a portion each of the lateral edges and vertically extend away from the baseplate a second predetermined distance. The baseplate flexible sidewall collectively define a containment space.
