UNIVERSAL STORAGE AND ATTACHMENT DEVICE
An attachment device comprising a base and a body section extending from the base and comprising two opposing arms. Each arm comprises a displacement limiting section and an interfacing surface. The arms cooperate to define an opening and are configured to be displaced by an object positioned within the opening and interfacing with the interfacing surfaces. Furthermore, the arms are configured to exert a compressive force on the object placed in the opening as a result of the displacement thereof.
Flexible liquid transport tank with surge dampening baffles
Flexible tanks for transporting liquids comprising a flexible bladder to contain liquid, several transverse surge dampening baffles inside the bladder, each baffle comprising several flexible panels, each having a base connected to the inside of the bladder and aligned along a plane transverse to the bladder and an unsupported terminal end opposite the base and adapted to converge with the unsupported portions of adjacent panels in a manner that defines a barrier to fluid flow across the transverse baffle when the bladder is filled; and a connector for interconnecting the terminal ends of the panels. There may be provided a flexible outer bladder of an abrasion resistant material that is adapted to removably receive the inner bladder. There may be provided longitudinal baffles situated between adjacent transverse baffles that define longitudinal compartments with restricted fluid flow there between for dampening lateral fluid surges.
Structure and method for securing and transporting equipment racks
A shipping apparatus utilizes logistic bars attached laterally across a carrier shipping enclosure such as truck trailer or shipping container. The logistic bars can engage tracks attached to lateral sidewalls of the carrier shipping enclosure. One or more equipment racks are positioned behind one of the lateral logistic bars. Another logistic bar is placed behind the one or more equipment racks. Each of the equipment racks are secured in place by clamping devices positioned along a respective lateral logistic bar to be proximate to a respective corner of the equipment rack. Longitudinal logistic bars are engaged to a pair of the clamping devices that are on opposing lateral sides of the equipment rack. The shipping apparatus provides a rigid structure that is appropriately positioned without damaging components within the equipment rack and preventing swaying during transport of the equipment rack.
Fastening Tip for Cargo Support Beam
A fastening tip for connecting a cargo support beam to a track, which comprises a first side plate, a second side plate, a stopping plate, a torsional spring and a lining plate, wherein the top surface of the top portion of the stopping plate is flat, and the stopping plate has an operating fin exposed outside; he lining plate engages the stopping plate when the top portion of the stopping plate tightly resists against the edge of the positioning hole. In the present invention, the damage due to the extrusion of cargos or by an external force is effectively prevented from; in addition, the manual operation space is increased, and the operation is more convenient.
STORAGE BOX AUXILIARY DEVICE AND AVIATION CONTAINER
Presenting an auxiliary storage apparatus and aircraft container that enables existing non-regulated temperature containers to be equipped with specific features such as cooling, heating, and humidifying features.
The storage container with specific features is inserted into a non-regulated temperature container for aircraft use and is affixed to the interior of the aforementioned non-regulated temperature container by the auxiliary storage apparatus, which is comprised of the wire (14) that passes over the storage container, the hooks (10, 10) and pulleys (12, 12) that affix to the existing support brackets (20, 20) that are located on the four corners of the floor surface, and the turnbuckle (16). One end of the wire (14) hooks onto the hook (10). The wire (14) then passes over the storage container and winds around the pulleys (12, 12). The other end of the wire (14) attaches to the other hook (10 using the turnbuckle (16). As the operator operates the turnbuckle, the wire (14) tightens against the storage container, and the storage container is affixed to the interior of the non-regulated temperature container.
Mechanically Actuated Cargo Restraint System
A mechanically actuated cargo restraint system for a vehicle includes a rotatable reel in a frame, a first flexible tether, a base and a pawl. The frame includes a cog having a single tooth. The first flexible tether has a first end coupled to the rotatable reel and a second end capable of being coupled to one of a vehicle and a cargo item. The first flexible tether is windable around the rotatable reel. The base rotate with the reel. The pawl is pivotally connected to the base, and is biased in a first position that allows rotation of the pawl with respect to the cog. The pawl moves to a second position responsive to centrifugal force associated with a velocity of rotation of the rotatable reel exceeding a threshold. The pawl engages the cog in the second position to inhibit relative movement of the pawl with respect to the cog.
Apparatus and Method for Horizontal Transport and Vertical Installation of Heat Exchanger
An apparatus for modular heat exchanger assembly is provided for horizontal transport and vertical orientation installation can include a frame that can be configured to retain a heat exchanger for transport and installation. The frame can facilitate transportation of the heat exchanger while the heat exchanger is in its horizontal orientation and can also facilitate lifting of the frame to orient the heat exchanger in its vertical orientation for installation and use.
Cargo carousel system for shipping containers and method for using same
A cargo carousel system for shipping containers is provided that can include a frame configured to fit within a shipping container and a cargo carousel mechanism in the frame that can move cargo pod platforms, configured for holding cargo pods, in a continuous loop path in the frame. The system can further include two frames side-by-side in the shipping, each frame with its own cargo carousel system.
CAPTIVE BEAM SYSTEM WITH ROTATING LATCH
A captive beam system is provided. The system includes a beam assembly comprising a beam and channel units at each end. The beam comprising a top surface that, when the captive beam system is installed, faces upward, wherein the top surface establishes a flat resting surface. Each channel unit supports a bracket and a pawl, the pawl is rotatable with respect to the first end of the channel unit. The pawl comprises a support surface that is configured, when the captive beam system is installed, to rest upon a bottom edge of an aperture disposed within a fixed track, wherein a vertical distance between the support surface and the flat resting surface of the beam is about 2.58 inches. An optional upper latch is configured to substantially prevent movement of the beam assembly in a direction along a long axis of an aperture of a fixed track.
