The outer end plate comprises a horizontal portion and a vertical portion; the horizontal member connects to a floor of the container; and the middle member connects to the plate and the horizontal member, wherein one end of the middle member extends to the intersection of the horizontal portion and the vertical portion of the plate; an opening and a clamping groove at the other end of the middle member; and an inserting portion at one end of the horizontal member for inserting into the clamping groove through the opening to connect the horizontal member and the middle member. When force is applied to the threshold assembly, gaps among the horizontal and middle members and the plate are sealed, preventing liquids from causing steel corrosion.

A foldable container adjustable between an unfolded condition and a folded condition comprises a roof panel and an opposing base panel, a front panel and an opposing door panel which are each hingedly connected to solely the roof panel, a right side panel and an opposing left side panel, a right side roof skirt and an opposing left side roof skirt having disparate heights, a left side compound beam and a right side compound beam extending from the base panel, and a left side hinge-beam structure and a right side hinge-beam structure each having a hinge point and a skirt retaining portion. The right side panel and the left side panel are hingedly coupled to their respective hinge-beam structures at the hinge points. The hinge points lie in different horizontal planes. The hinge points lie within a midline of their respective side panel.

The door brace assembly may additionally include a door brace mounted within the door plug. The door brace may be transformable between a retracted state and an expanded state. When in its retracted state, the door brace assembly may be loaded into or removed from the insulated container. When in its expanded state, the door brace assembly engages the four corners of the frame just inside the door to keep the frame square.
