DEVICE FOR HOLDING X-RAY FILMS
A method for producing a holding apparatus for an x-ray film for teeth of a patient. The method includes performing an image registration of a first two-dimensional x-ray image of a tooth of an upper or lower jaw in a three-dimensional volume-tomographic data record of a jaw with a computer, determining a relative position of the first two-dimensional x-ray image within the three-dimensional volume-tomographic data record, preparing a virtual model for a holding apparatus that is attachable to the teeth of the upper or lower jaw in an interlocking fashion on the basis of the three-dimensional volume-tomographic data record, and producing the holding apparatus based on the virtual model. The holding apparatus includes a holding element which holds the x-ray film in a defined position. The defined position is established by the relative position of the first two-dimensional x-ray image in the three-dimensional volume-tomographic data record.
DENTAL SURGERY METHOD AND DEVICE
A device for detaching a tooth root. The device comprises: a lead screw having a threaded point for screwing into the tooth root, and a threaded shaft; a pivoting member including a bore through which the lead screw passes, the lead screw being retractable through the bore by rotational engagement of a threaded member with the threaded shaft of the lead screw; and a platform for supporting the pivoting member such that the lead screw is able to pivot relative to the platform, The lead screw includes a locking surface for preventing rotation of the lead screw during rotational engagement of the threaded member with the threaded shaft.

Dental Prosthesis
A dental prosthesis having a guide hole formed therein. The guide hole is configured to guide a drilling for a screw, and configured to receive the screw, holding the prosthesis in place when screwed into the bone of a patient.
Interdental anchoring apparatuses and methods
One or more oral devices having interdental anchors configured to elastically deform and engage with an interdental gap between adjacent teeth. One or more medical devices can then be secured to the oral device via a securing portion, allowing the medical device to be secured relative to the patient.

DENTAL SURGICAL STENT
Dental surgical stents can be used to assist a dental surgeon. A hard tissue stent can include an access hole formed in one side and may be placed over one or more of the patient's teeth where the access hole is accurately aligned at a location for drilling to, for example, remove infection. Suction channels may be included in the stent to provide suction about the access hole to remove saliva, water, bone debris and the like, during the surgical procedure. A soft tissue stent may be placed over one or more of the patient's teeth, where the stent can include a mark positioned where the surgeon is to cut to create an access flap in the soft tissue. By keeping the flap attached to the semi-circular window of the soft tissue stent, the surgeon can more easily return the flap to the proper position.

Devices, systems and methods for temporary attachment of a safety line to dental restorations and appliances
Devices, systems, and methods for handling dental restorations or dental appliances, including a device having an adhesive at one side of a flexible substrate which peels from a strip to connect to a dental appliance, the device further including an abrasive at an opposite side of the substrate, and in further aspects a tab section devoid of adhesive to accommodate easy grasp and lift of the device for removal from the dental appliance, and in further aspects a string attached to the tab.
