Embodiments of the disclosed jar may have a body portion with an integrated LED array for illuminating the contents of the jar. The jar may have a removable lid with an integrated magnifying lens, and an opening or port to enable a user to smell the contents of the jar. The opening may have a removable plug to establish a substantially air tight seal on the lid of the jar, to trap odors within the jar. The removable plug can be selectively removed to enable the user to smell the contents of the jar. The jar may have an electronics module and power source operable for wireless charging. The jar may also be configured to interface with a charging dock or base for wireless charging of integrated batteries.
LUMINOUS BOTTLE
A luminous bottle is disclosed herein. In particular, the luminous bottle may comprise a bottle containing a volume configured to receive liquids, solids, any type of substance, or a combination thereof. For example, in certain embodiments, the luminous bottle may be configured to store consumable beverages, such as, but not limited to, champagne, wine, liquor, beer, soda, water, and/or other types of consumable beverages. The luminous bottle may include a base portion including a recessed portion, a luminous pad configured to adhere to a surface of the luminous bottle and configured to output light, an ornamental component attachable to the bottle and configured to secure onto the luminous pad, and a power compartment configured to secure within the recessed portion of the base portion. The power compartment may include a switch, which, when activated, may cause the luminous pad to emit light.
Consumable recognition system, set of consumables and beverage dispenser
The present invention relates to a consumable recognition system for recognizing placement and/or type of consumable containing a food substance for the preparation of a beverage by use of a beverage dispenser. To enable the recognition of placement and/or type of consumable in a simple, foolproof and easily implementable way an embodiment of the system comprises a light source (31, 301, 311, 321, 331, 341) for emitting light (35) to the consumable (4a, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90), a light sensor (32 302, 312, 322, 332, 342) for sensing light (36) reflected from a reflection element (42, 52, 63, 73, 83, 93) of the consumable to obtain a sensor signal, wherein the sensor signal depends on the position, orientation, fluorescence, phosphorescence and/or polarization characteristic of said reflection element, and a signal processor (33) for recognizing placement and/or type of consumable based on said sensor signal.
Portable Thermal Insulated Apparatus
A portable thermal insulated apparatus for cooling or heating items stored therein. The thermal insulated apparatus includes a container having a lid that removably secures to an open first end thereof and a reservoir unit that removably secures to an open second end. The container includes an inner tube and an outer tube forming an insulated double-wall sealed at both ends in which the lid and reservoir unit can be connected thereto. The reservoir unit removably receives a thermal unit that provides cooling or heating to the contents of the container when affixed thereto. The thermal unit is separable from the reservoir unit, such that the thermal units are interchangeable as needed. In some embodiments, the thermal unit is directly securable to the lid and the second end of the container is permanently sealed.
Re-sealing vacuum package receptacle
A resealable, vacuum packable receptacle has a container, a sealing layer, an inner lid, and an outer lid. When (i) the outer lid opening receives the inner lid, (ii) the inner lid is threadably mated with the container, and (iii) the container has the sealing layer positioned over the container's mouth; (A) a portion of the outer lid causes the outer lid or the inner lid to contact the sealing layer to push a desired amount of air from the container which then results in inhibiting air from entering or exiting the container, or (B) the distance between the outer lid's top surface and the inner lid's top surface can be altered, and when the distance is increased, the air pressure in the container is decreased.
Code and container of system for preparing a beverage or foodstuff
A container for a beverage or foodstuff preparation machine, the container for containing beverage or foodstuff material and comprising a code encoding preparation information, the code comprising a reference portion and a data portion: the reference portion comprising reference units defining a reference line r; the data portion comprising a data unit, wherein said data unit is arranged on an encoding line D that intersects the reference line r, the data unit is arranged a distance d from said intersection as a variable to at least partially encode a parameter of the preparation information, whereby said encoding line D is circular and is arranged with a tangent thereto orthogonal the reference line r at said intersection point, wherein the reference units are arranged with a configuration defining a reference point from which the reference line r extends.
CANNABINOID-CONTAINING PRODUCTS, CONTAINERS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A dosage device that includes a cannabinoid-containing substance enables controlled addition of the cannabinoid-containing substance to a liquid to produce a cannabinoid-containing liquid for ingestion. In an embodiment, such a dosage device is provided with a container that has a container body holding a liquid and a cover to seal the container body. A dosage device may also or instead be provided with a cover that includes a coupling structure to releasably couple the cover to a liquid container and a seal to seal the container. Other embodiments, including methods of use of a container, methods that involve providing a cannabinoid-containing substance and adding the cannabinoid-containing substance to a cover, and product packages that include multiple covers, are also disclosed.
Container for payment cards with hidden features
A payment card includes hidden features (e.g., textual messages, graphics, emphasis features associated with conspicuous features of the payment card, or the like) undiscernible under only visible light, but discernable under ultraviolet light. The hidden features can be incorporated into multiple layers of a side of the payment card and can be present at different transparencies. A container (e.g., presentation box) can include a circuit to detect when the container is opened and cause the hidden features to be illuminated with ultraviolet light. The ultraviolet light source can be incorporated into the container itself, or can be incorporated into the payment card (e.g., activated by supplying a signal to the payment card from the container).
CUP
There is disclosed a cup comprising a cup body comprising an opening and provided to contain a beverage; and a handle part provided in an outer surface of the cup body and configured to be holdable by a user, wherein the handle part forms a preset angle with respect to an outer surface of the cup body so that the cup body supported by handle part is spaced from a table surface or floor when the handle part in contact with the table surface or floor, and wherein the length or width at which the handle part is formed is provided in a size such that when the handle part contacts with the table surface or floor, an imaginary normal extending from the table surface or floor to the center of gravity of the cup body to pass through the handle part.
