Flat pack ramp lever
A package comprises a latch including first and second legs and an actuating portion. The first and second legs are joined at an angle. The actuator portion of the first leg is positioned to be displaced generally laterally to displace the second leg generally longitudinally to release the latch. In another embodiment the package has base wells on the inside surface. A generally flat marginal sealing surface encircles the first and second base wells. The wells of the base and/or lid are covered with a cover sheet to close them. Still another embodiment is a child-resistant container comprising a shell, two drawers, a stop, and a latch. The drawers are prevented from sliding apart past a limit of travel when one drawer is open sufficiently to provide access to its contents and the other drawer is not.

CHILD-RESISTANT SMOKING ARTICLE PACKAGE
A child-resistant smoking article package 100 is provided which comprises a case 103 with an opening 104 that is adapted to receive a smoking article 102 and a cap 107 movable between a closed state wherein the cap 107 closes the case 103 and an open state wherein the opening 104 of the case 103 is accessible. The child-resistant smoking article package 100 further comprises a first releaseably engageable fixation member 108-1 and a second and third releaseably engageable fixation member 108-2, 108-3, wherein the second and third releaseably engageable fixation members 108-2, 108-3 are arranged on opposing sides of the child-resistant smoking article package 100. The first, second and third releaseably engageable fixation members 108-1, 108-2, 108-3 are adapted to immovably fix the cap 107 to the case 103 in the closed state and to release the cap 107 when they are simultaneously actuated.
CONTAINER HAVING CHILD-RESISTANT SENIOR-FRIENDLY FEATURES AND METHOD OF USING AND MAKING SAME
A container (600) includes a base (650) having a floor portion (651) and an outer wall (652) extending upwardly therefrom. A lid (600) includes a ceiling portion (611) and an outer wall (612) extending downwardly therefrom, the lid being movable with respect to the base between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position the combined lid and base define a cavity configured to enclose product. One of the base and the lid includes a first maintaining tab (656) extending upwardly from the floor portion or downwardly from the ceiling portion. The first maintaining tab being positioned inwardly of the outer wall of the one of the base and the lid. The other one of the base and the lid including a first opening (622) extending there through. At least a portion of the first maintaining tab extending through the first opening to maintaining the lid in the closed position.
Container with child resistant means
A container (2) with child resistant means, which container (2) comprises: (i) a body portion (4) for receiving a product; (ii) a top (6) for opening and closing the body portion (4); (iii) locking means (10) for locking the top (6) to the body portion (4); (iv) opening means for unlocking the locking means (10) and enabling the top (6) to be moved to open the body portion (4), and the container (2) being such that: (v) the locking means (10) is a push-operated locking means (10) which operates by pushing the top (6) onto the body portion (4); (vi) the opening means (19) is a squeeze-operated opening means (19) which operates by simultaneously squeezing of the top (6) at two opposed locations (19) only; and (vii) the push-operated locking means (10) and the squeeze-operated opening means (19) enable the body portion (4) to be closable and openable using only one hand on the top (6) and without having to rotate the top (6) relative to the body portion (4).
Package comprising means for opening blisters
The present invention relates to a package (7) for pharmaceutical blister packs (12) comprising means (11) for removing the protecting foil of the blister packs. The package protects the blister packs (12) and at the same time provides an easy and convenient way of opening the blister pack for people at all level of ability and dexterity.
