A package for accommodating products comprises a first portion hingedly connected to a first side of a rear panel, a second portion hingedly connected to a second side of the rear panel, the second side being opposite to the first side. At least one of the first and second portion comprises at least one recess adapted to accommodate a product. The first portion, the second portion and the rear panel at least partly form a receptacle adapted for accommodating said at least one recess. The first portion and the second portion are movable between an open state of the package in which the at least one recess is accessible to a user and a closed state of the package in which the at least one recess is inaccessible to a user.

A child-resistant closure for a container includes an inner cap retained in an outer cap, the outer cap being rotatable with respect to the inner cap; the inner cap having a gripping surface on a circumferential sidewall; the outer cap having a circumferential lateral wall defining at least one elongate cutout that exposes the gripping surface, the cutouts providing adequate contact area between a typical thumb and/or fingers of an adult and the exposed gripping surface to allow removal of the closure from a container, and inadequate contact area between a typical thumb, finger and/or hand of a child to allow removal of the closure.

Child-resistant containers are described herein having a body portion and a lid portion that can be coupled to one another. A set of fasteners can be disposed on the body or lid portion to secure the lid portion to the body portion. The fasteners can be flexed or bent which permits the lid portion to be released from the body portion.

The present invention relates generally to electronic smoking devices and in particular to a tray for at least a portion of an electronic smoking device.

The tray (100) comprises at least one cavity (101) for containing the portion. The tray (100) is configured to be reversibly deformed from a default form into a deformed form by finger interaction with interaction elements of the tray (100) having a distance to each other of at least 90% of the average distance between thumb tip and index finger tip or a middle finger tip of an adult. The tray (100) is configured to return to the default form once the finger interaction is terminated. The default form provides the at least one cavity (101) for containing the portion in an inaccessible manner and the deformed form is required for accessing the portion.

A latchable package comprises: a support (200) for supporting one or more items; a structure (300) for selectively blocking access to the one or more items; and a latchable insert (400). The latchable insert comprises a substantially planar tab member that is coupled to the support such that the insert and support are movable together in an opening direction from a first position in which the structure blocks access to the one or more items to a second position in which the one or more items are accessibly clear of the structure. The structure and the latchable insert comprise co-operating latch features (380) configured to engage when the insert and support are arranged in the first position.

A child-resistant closure for a container includes an inner cap retained in an outer cap, the outer cap being rotatable with respect to the inner cap; the inner cap having a gripping surface on a circumferential sidewall; the outer cap having a circumferential lateral wall defining elongate cutouts that expose the gripping surface, the cutouts being sized and spaced to provide adequate contact area between a typical thumb of an adult and the exposed gripping surface to allow removal of the closure from a container and inadequate contact area between a typical thumb of a child.

Provided is a system a push and turn child safety container with finger indents. This improved safety container is characterized by a outer body having a first circular element bounded by a first circumferential wall having an inward lip at the distal end. An inner surface of the first circular element providing a plurality of first ridges. Nested within the outer body is an inner body characterized by a second circular element bounded by a second circumferential wall extending normally away from the second circular element. The inner surface of the second circumferential wall having first threads; and an outer surface of the second circular element having a plurality of second ridges for temporarily engaging with the first ridges of the first circular element. The safety container has a screw element screw element characterized by a circular first element having an outer circumferential wall having at least one indent structured and arranged to receive a user's finger tips. The indent provides abutment surfaces for the user's finger tips. A threaded collar extends normally from the circular first element below the indents and is structured and arranged to be disposed within the inner body and engage the first threads of the inner surface of the second circumferential wall to temporarily bind the screw element with the inner body.

A latchable package comprises: a support (200) for supporting one or more items; a structure (300) for selectively blocking access to the one or more items; and a latchable insert (400). A package comprises a latch including first and second legs and an actuating portion. The first and second legs are joined at an angle. The actuator portion of the first leg is positioned to be displaced generally laterally to displace the second leg generally longitudinally to release the latch. In another embodiment the package has base wells on the inside surface. A generally flat marginal sealing surface encircles the first and second base wells. The wells of the base and/or lid are covered with a cover sheet to close them. Still another embodiment is a child-resistant container comprising a shell, two drawers, a stop, and a latch. The drawers are prevented from sliding apart past a limit of travel when one drawer is open sufficiently to provide access to its contents and the other drawer is not.
