BEVERAGE CONTAINER OPEN INDICATOR
A beverage container with a tactile indication of a properly open position for drinking. The beverage container includes a base, a collar, and a cap having an annular seal gasket for opening and closing the container for pouring/drinking. The improvement is a collar stop located on the collar, together with a pair of seal stops extending from the seal gasket and forming a notch therebetween. Rotation of the cap to open the container becomes more difficult as the collar stop interferes with the leading one of the seal stops. Continued rotation to seat the collar stop in the notch provides a tactile indication that the cap has rotated to the properly open position and further rotation may be avoided.
Package
A container with a selectively openable cover to selectively allow access to one or more compartments is disclosed.
PRESS-ON CAPS AND SEALED CONTAINERS COMPRISING THE PRESS-ON CAPS
An irreversible press-on cap (10) comprises a tubular sleeve (13) which extends along an axis of extension (X′-X′) and, at one end of the cap (10), a rim (16) that radially projects from the tubular sleeve (13), the press-on cap is made of a polymeric material that can withstand a high-temperature sterilization cycle and comprises a capping wall (17) that extends from the rim (16) and across the surface delimited by the rim (16), the capping wall (17) has a height variation relative to the rim (16) that ranges from −1% to 1% a characteristic dimension of said capping wall (17); the cap further comprises a plurality of, preferably three, protrusions (21), that jut out of a front surface (17A) of the capping wall (17), the protrusions (21) are shaped complementary to a grip head of a filling apparatus to guide the grip head during application of the cap (10).
Assembly Comprising a Container and a Cap
An assembly consisting of a container (1) having a nozzle (17) for dispensing a substance contained in the container (1), and a cap (19) for covering the nozzle (17), the container having a first connection region (14) which can be connected to a corresponding second connection region (25) of the cap (19), the connection regions (14, 25) being selected such that the container (1) and the cap (19) are connected at least partially by a rotational movement of the container (1) and the cap (19) relative to one another, the cap (19) having an inner chamber (20) surrounded by a casing (22), which chamber is open at one end so as to receive the nozzle (17), the casing (22) having an end face (21) at its open end, and the container (1) having a cover face (12) which points toward the cap and has a cover edge (11), the connection regions (14, 25) being selected and the end face (21) being adapted to the cover face (12) and the cover edge (11) thereof such that, when the container (1) and the cap (19) are connected, the end face (21) comes into contact with the cover face (12) when the cap (19) is in a first intermediate position and, when the container (1) and the cap (19) are rotated further relative to one another, the end face (21) is pressed against the cover face (12) and the cap (19) ultimately reaches a second end position, the end face (21) passing over the cover edge (11).
CONTAINERS HAVING POSITIONAL COUPLING DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to containers having positional lock coupling. In accordance with aspects of the present disclosure, a positional coupling device includes at least one protrusion protruding from and fixed to a first surface, and at least one hole fixed within a second surface where the at least one hole corresponds to the at least one protrusion and is configured to receive the at least one protrusion. When the first surface and the at least one protrusion are rotated relative to the second surface and the least one hole, the at least one hole receives the at least one protrusion in at least two distinct rotational positions.
ALIGNMENT POSITIONING STRUCTURE FOR CONTAINER LID HANDLE AND HOLDING PART
An alignment positioning structure for a container lid handle and a holding part includes: a body formed by surrounding a side to form an accommodating space, and a longitudinal lengthwise columnar body with an open end communicating with the accommodating space; a gripping protuberance being a convex surface protruded from a side of the body and each opposite end of the convex surface having an inwardly bent force applying surface; a lid having a combining section extended from a side of the lid for combining with the open end of the body and having two opposite first combining portions; a handle having two opposite end portions with a second combining portion for combining the two first combining portions; and a compensation portion having a gap formed between the lid and the open end of the body to define a relative position between the handle and the gripping protuberance.
Seal indication mechanism for containers
A seal indication mechanism for a container assembly having a container and a lid is provided. The seal indication mechanism has a portion on the container and a portion on the lid that interface to indicate to a user that a seal has been achieved between the container and the lid. The seal indication mechanism provides an audible, tactile and visual indication to the user that the lid and container are sealed. The seal indication mechanism functions to indicate a range of sealed relative positions between the container and the lid throughout the usable life of the container assembly.
SPOUT CAP, SPOUT, AND CONTAINER WITH SPOUT
A spout cap is a spout cap for closing a mouth portion of a spout main body, and includes a cylindrical body portion made of resin, and a sealing film joined to the body portion, in which the sealing film has a thermal bonding layer which is configured to join to a distal end surface of the mouth portion when the mouth portion is closed.
Package with lockable lid
A package having a tray and a lockable lid is disclosed herein. The lid may be removed by applying a user input so that, for example, the package is child resistant. The lid is movable between a closed position and an open position. The package may include grinders to grind contents in the package.
Container assembly with locking closure
A container assembly comprising a container and a closure. The container includes a body defining a storage chamber and a neck. The neck extends away from the body and defines an open mouth providing access to the storage chamber. The neck further defines an exterior surface and at least two latching protrusions extending radially outwardly from the exterior surface. The closure includes a top wall, a cylindrical wall extending downwardly from the top wall, a first lug extending radially inwardly from the cylindrical wall, and a second lug extending radially inwardly from the cylindrical wall. A top surface of the first lug and a top surface of the second lug are each positioned a substantially identical distance away from the top wall and the first lug and the second lug are each configured to selectively lock with a common one of the at least two latching protrusions.
