Conformable package
A flexible package that can include first and second sidewalls. The first and second sidewalls being joined by a bottom portion and seams that define first and second sides. The package can have an opening opposite the bottom portion, a first plurality of magnetic regions, and a second plurality of magnetic regions. The first plurality of magnetic regions can be disposed on the first sidewall near the opening and include discrete magnetic regions. A second plurality of magnetic regions can be disposed on the second sidewall near the access opening and include opposed discrete magnetic regions. The second plurality of magnetic regions being opposite the first plurality of magnetic regions. The discrete magnetic regions and the opposed discrete magnetic regions can be magnetically engageable with a magnetic force to close the opening of the package in a configuration having M petals, where M is an integer from 2 to 8.
FOLDABLE STORAGE BOX
A foldable storage box includes a bottom panel, a rear panel, two lateral panels, a front panel, and a lid. The bottom panel has a rear edge with a first pivotal connection portion, two lateral edges each with a second pivotal connection portion, and a front edge with a third pivotal connection portion. The rear panel has a first bottom edge with a fourth pivotal connection portion pivotally connected to the first pivotal connection portion. Each lateral panel has a second bottom edge with a fifth pivotal connection portion pivotally connected to one of the second pivotal connection portions. The front panel has a third bottom edge with a sixth pivotal connection portion pivotally connected to the third pivotal connection portion. The lid is detachably connected to the rear panel, the two lateral panels, and the front panel to form the foldable storage box and the receiving space therein.
Segmented Storage Container
Consumers of tobacco products or pharmaceuticals are known to carry such on their person in containers to protect the product in their pocket or purse and so that the product is available as needed. A container in which two containers are selectively coupled together is disclosed. In some embodiments, a first, larger container contains fresh product while the second, smaller container contains partially-consumed product. Or in some cases, the smaller container is used to hand off a small amount of the product (tobacco or the pharmaceutical) to another person, e.g., a caregiver attending to a patient. The approaches disclosed herein to couple the two containers include: snap fit, magnetic coupling, and a sliding groove/ridge fit.
SYSTEM TO HOLD MULTIPLE BEVERAGE CONTAINERS
A system for holding multiple beverage containers may include a cooler or carrier with toting handles, closing tabs, and base. The base may be formed from a molded plastic, rubber or synthetic rubber material. The base may also include feet that hold the base a sufficient height from the ground. The base may have a generally conic tapering drain floor that makes up its top surface. The tapering drain floor may make draining the carrier easier by directing water toward a drain hole located in the base. Extending up from the base may be a multi-layer soft-sided wall where different layers perform different desired functions. For example, an inside layer closest to the internal cavity may be a waterproof layer, a middle layer may be an insulating layer, and an external layer may be a decorative layer.
Corner connector and a container comprising same
The present invention provides a corner connector for use in forming transport, storage and display containers and a transport, storage and display container system of stacking compartments that can be interconnected and formed into multiple orientations according to the user's needs.
Flat-folding box covers and method of assembly and methods of customizing images on the box cover
Variations for flat-folding box covers with four distinct design configurations: one piece; two piece; flat-folding structural frames and clear, rigid box covers with decorative inserts. Construction techniques comprise a variety of methods including use of cutout stock sheet materials; use of stiffening panels; use of structural frame elements; use of lamination; use of clear plastic panels; and the use of coatings. Fastening techniques comprise a variety of methods including; magnets, snaps, structural frames, hinges, and adhesives. The end user may purchase finished box covers or components or select from a set of design options offered by a manufacturer; or supply custom decorative images to a manufacturer to apply to the box cover; or purchase a kit in order to make or embellish a box cover themselves. Some designs allow for the end user to update and reconfigure the design elements of the box cover after it is purchased.
Container with magnetic closure
A container device that has an outer shell with an opening that is sealed by a closure mechanism. The closure mechanism can include magnetic strips that are configured to partially or wholly seal the opening.
Cosmetic container with magnetic closure
A cosmetic container with a self-aligning magnetic closure. The cosmetic container can include a cap with a first magnetic portion and an applicator including a plug, and a receptacle for receiving product therein, the receptacle having a second magnetic portion configured to engage with the first magnetic portion, and an access aperture configured to receive the applicator. In some implementations, one of the cap or the receptacle includes at least one cam feature and the other of the cap or the receptacle includes at least one recess configured to receive the at least one cam feature.
Magnetic object holder
A magnetic object holder is a device for releasably attaching an object to a ferromagnetic surface. The device can include an insulated flexible sleeve defining an interior space in which the object is removably receivable. The sleeve grips the object in an interference fit when the object is received in the interior space. One or more magnets secured to a portion of the sleeve enables the sleeve to be releasably attached to the ferromagnetic surface while the object is received in the interior space.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR INTEGRATING AND ADAPTING PRODUCTS WITH TETHERING SYSTEMS
A tethering system is presented. The system has a first magnet positioned in a first cavity of a first item such that the first magnet is out of sight of a user. A second magnet is coupled to a second item. The second item is movable about and between a first position, in which the magnetic force between the first magnet and the second magnet is not strong enough to couple the second item to the first item, and a second position, in which the magnetic force between the first magnet and the second magnet is strong enough to releasably, securedly couple the second item to the first item.
