TAMPER-EVIDENT ENCLOSURE
An exemplary enclosure including a resin injection-molded canister defining a top end, a bottom end and an intermediate body disposed therebetween. The enclosure, furthermore, includes a resin injection-molded fitment defining a base, a tamper-evident panel, and a neck disposed therebetween. The top end includes a rim having an inwardly facing mating surface and the base includes a rim having an outwardly facing mating surface. The canister and fitment are configured to be fused along the inwardly and outwardly facing mating surfaces subsequent to being filled with the consumer product. The tamper-evident panel is molded into the fitment during the injection molding process while the mating plane of the fitment and canister is located below the base of the fitment to optimize the opening of the canister for being filled with the consumer product.
Tamper-Evident Container with Additional Lock
A container includes a base and a lid configured to selectively move between an open position and a closed position. A storage volume of the container is defined by and between the base and the lid in the closed position. The container also includes a first tab on the base, a second tab on the lid, a first locking member, and a second locking member. The second locking member is configured to interlock with the first locking member such that the base and the lid are retained in the closed position when the first locking member and the second locking member are interlocked. The container also includes a bump projecting from one of the first tab and the second tab, such that at least a portion of the second tab is deflected when the lid and the base are in the closed position.
Tamper-indicating shapes for flexible recloseable packages
A recloseable package is provided having a tamper-indicating element. The tamper-indicating element include one or more self-terminating shapes that form one or more chads after opening the recloseable package. Advantageously, the self-terminating shapes provide a simple, visual cue of graphical alignment in the seal to show the customer whether or not a package has been opened.
TAMPER-EVIDENT CONTAINER
A tamper-evident container generally includes a tray having an opening with a step section formed around the opening and including a first protrusion section that is provided with a first coupling unit with a first perforation line formed therebetween. The first coupling unit includes a coupling trough. A cover includes a concave groove having a bottom and an outside surface engageable with the step section to close the opening. The cover includes a second protrusion section and a second coupling unit between which a second perforation line is formed and projecting beyond the first perforation line. The second coupling unit has a coupling member receivable in and engageable with the coupling trough. Tearing off the first and second perforation lines allows the first and second coupling units to detach from the tray and the cover, respectively with the second protrusion section projecting outside the tray for easy gripping.
One-piece food container with rim
A food container has a temporary rim formed in one-piece structure on the edge thereof. It has as first sealing rim and a second sealing rim as the surface for a sealing film to be heat-sealed thereon. When the outer rim is torn off, an irreversible tear-off structure on the sealed cover would leave the trace, allowing the consumers and the sellers to decide whether to purchase or dispose of the goods simply by visual judgments; in other words, it has a tamper-proof function. In addition, when the outer rim is removed from the container, the sealing film would detach from the first sealing rim but still stick on the second sealing rim, providing a reusable sealed cover for the container that ensures more safety of food hygiene.
Tamper-evident container structure
Disclosed is a tamper-evident container for food storage that uses a round male to female post lock on a single corner. After the cover is locked to the tray base, it requires breaking the corner tray tab to open the container. This tab tear off provides positive evidence of container opening to indicate the container has been opened or tampered with.

ZIPPER ASSEMBLY WITH SEPARATE TEAR STRIP AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A zipper assembly for a resealable enclosure may include an elongated flange having a panel side and an opposite facing side. The panel side can be coupled with an inner surface of a panel of the resealable enclosure. The zipper assembly also can include an interlocking element protruding from the flange and shaped to mate with another interlocking element of another flange to close the enclosure and shaped to be pulled apart to open the enclosure. The zipper assembly can include a tear strip disposed in the flange and spaced apart from the flange by gaps. The tear strip can be pulled to tear through the panel of the resealable enclosure to provide access to the zipper assembly inside the enclosure.
Tamper evident plastic food container
A tamper evident container comprises a lid and a base. The lid includes a lid rim having a lid rim flange. The base includes a base rim having a base rim flange. A frangible hinge is formed between a top pinch segment peripherally projecting from the lid rim flange and a bottom pinch segment peripherally projecting from the base rim flange. The frangible hinge is configured to rupture when the container is in the initially sealed arrangement by the application of a pinching force to the top pinch segment and bottom pinch segment that results in the relative vertical movement of the segments toward each other. As compared to the prior art, the container hinges about a frangible vertex instead of hinging about a square-shaped structure.
TAMPER-EVIDENT CONTAINER AND PROCESS FOR MAKING THE SAME
A tamper-evident container includes a storage compartment made of sheet material, defining an internal volume, and configured for housing products. The storage compartment includes multiple lateral walls defining a passage opening delimited by a free edge. The passage opening is configured to communicate the internal volume of the storage compartment with an external environment. The tamper-evident container further includes a closure system engaged at the free edge of the storage compartment and movable with respect to the storage compartment. The closure system can define a closed condition in which the closure system prevents communication between the internal volume of the storage compartment and the external environment and an open condition in which the closure system enables communication between the internal volume of the storage compartment and the external environment. The tamper-evident container further includes a safety device made of sheet material and including first and second coupling portions.
